Public speaking tips

-Even if you aren't feeling it, try to act confident. You'll fool the audience and maybe even yourself

-Wear something you look and feel good in.
Nobody's going to remember it in like a year, so no need to stress over that.

-Pick someone you know in the crowd to make eye contact with every now and then and pretend you're speaking to them

-Go over what you're going to say with a friend before the real deal

-When you're nervous, you'll end up talking faster, so make sure you slow down, which will also help you feel less stressed.

-Chew some gum or eat a snack before speaking of you're feeling nervous (just remember to spit out your gum before you start!)

-It's totally fine if you mess up a little. Public speaking tales a long time and a lot of practice to master, so don't worry too much!
