Part of growing up is learning to drive. Learning to drive was pretty stressful for me, since I got really stressed out and anxious whenever I would be behind the wheel.
But here are some things that I've learned will help while driving!Driving tips:
-Be confident, or at least pretend to be if you don't think you can do it-Put on some of your favorite music to relax you, just don't let it distract you too much XD
-Turn your phone on silent or move it to where you won't be tempted to look at it.
-Don't second guess yourself, follow your gut instinct
-Be aware of your surroundings.
-Be aware of what other drivers/cars are doing
-Learn how to turn on Windshield wipers, Lights, etc.
-Focus and pay attention to the road, not what other riders are saying
-If you ever get your own car, have emergency stuff in it like a change of clothes, water, snacks, a towel, etc
-Have someone teach you how to change a tire. At some point or another, you'll need to learn this!
-Take it seriously, goofing around while driving is dangerous.
-Learn to drive on roads where you're comfortable and familiar with, then slowly drive further and further as you become more comfortable.
-Practice driving at night with someone in the car with you the first couple of times.
