"Cheers!" everybody said as they raised their bottles together.

Katatapos lang ng party na ginawa ng mga magkakaibigan para sa mga employees at loyal clients nila. They had also introduced the new owners of CHK Canada. Forty percent of shares went to the employees and the rest went to four new owners.

They made a good network during the last 3 years and finding investors came easy. Of course, may babalik sa kanila for the transfer and papers pero good as sold na talaga ang CHK. The group is now in their house to have their own after-party.

"I'm gonna miss this place," Kim said after taking a swig from her bottle.

"Ikaw pa talaga nagsabi niyan e ikaw ang huling nakarating dito ha," biro ni Pia.

"That's Pia's way of saying she'll miss the place more," sita naman ni Nicole.

Pia shrugged. "No I won't. Excited na talaga ako umuwi. But y-yeah. I'll miss this place," she said, her voice breaking a little.

"Iiyak na yan! Iiyak na yan!" chided Kiefer and Alfred.

"Che! Akala mo naman sila hindi mamimiss ang CHK at ang Canada," ganti ni Pia.

Kiefer stood up and said, "Well, yeah. Talagang nakakamiss ang lugar na ito. Hindi lang naman yung lugar. Siyempre yung bonding nating lahat. Who would have thought we'll form this group di ba? Lalo na ako na basketball player na naipit sa mga volleyball players. And not to mention na rival schools tayo sa UAAP ha. Parang napaka unlikely, but we're here. And I'm thankful."

"Pinakamadrama sa lahat si Manong. Cheers na nga lang ulit. Cheers!" led Kathy who stood up and clinked her bottle with Kief's. Everyone followed except for one na naiwang nakaupo.

"Uh, Alyssa?" noticed Nicole.

Alyssa was pulled out of her trance. "Huh? A-Ah yeah. Cheers!" Tumayo siya at nakisali sa iba.

"Okay ka lang ba, Ly?" asked Kim who sat again at tumusok ng pulutan sa platter. Umupo na rin ang iba.

Alyssa who was left standing suddenly blurted out, "I don't want to go home."

"WHAT?!" everyone reacted. Alfred even spat out his beer.

"Are you crazy?! We're leaving in two days, Aly. Two days," emphasized Kathy.

Pia pulled Alyssa to sit. "Maupo ka nga. Baka nakakalimutan mo, nauna na nating pinadala ang ibang mga gamit natin!"

"Calm down, Ly. Maybe it's just, you know... jitters," Kief said.

"Jitters. Like that of the wedding?" added Alfred.

"Yeah that. Wedding jitters," agreed Kiefer and both boys laughed at this.

Binatukan naman ni Kim yung dalawa. "Hindi kayo nakakatulong e. Ly, tell us. Anong tumatakbo sa isip mo ngayon?"

Alyssa opened her mouth to answer, "Well--"

"Ayaw mong umuwi kasi hindi ka ready makita si Den?" singit ni Pia.

"Si Den na may LA na ngayon," dugtong ni Nicole.

Humabol pa si Kathy. "Si Den na nakamove on na samantalang ikaw hindi pa."

"Yes! Yes! Yes! Alright?! I haven't moved on yet. And I don't want to be the loser na makikita siyang masaya samantalang ako miserable pa din. I couldn't just accept that she has moved on from me. I am still, absolutely in love with her," admitted Alyssa, somehow defeated.
