Alyssa is at the living room of their house, waiting for their guests. Magdidinner sa kanila ang mga Lazaro para magkakilala ang dalawang pamilya.

She is wearing a black, long-sleeved, bodycon dress and black wedge pump. She's slumped in their sofa.

"Hoy! Ayusin mo nga yung upo mo. Kababae mong tao," sabi ng Kuya ni Aly na si Paulo pagkatapos niyang batukan ito.

"Babae pala e. Bakit mo binabatukan?" buwisit na sagot ni Aly. Nginisian lang siya ni Paulo.

"Will you please behave? Ang tatanda niyo na ganyan pa kayo," said Kian, the youngest of their family.

"Sorry, Kuya ha. Patawarin mo na kami," Aly said in a sarcastic tone. Nagtawanan lang si Paulo at isa pang kuya ni Aly na si Nicko.

"All of you get up. Let's meet them. They're here," instructed Pablita.

The three boys stood up and headed to the door. Aly remained seated. Her arms across her chest.

"Tatayo ka o kakaladkarin kita?" tanong ni Ruel sa anak.

Aly let out a scoff and said sarcastically, "Mahal na mahal mo talaga ako ano, Pa?"

"Naman," answered Ruel with a smile on his face.

Tumayo na si Aly at inakbayan naman niya ito at sinabing, "That's my girl." Aly just gave him a fake smile.

Pagdating nila sa pinto ay nandoon na ang mga Garcia-Lazaro.

"Compañero, kumusta? It's good to see you again," sabi ni Miguel, the patriarch of the Garcias.

Nakipagkamay naman dito si Lolo Luis at sinabing, "Mabuti. Mabuti naman."

After the greetings, Miguel said, "Luis, this is my family. My daughter, Arlene, her husband, Mike, their daughters, Dennise and Justine, and the youngest, Mosh."

Nakipagkamay naman sa kanila si Luis. "Ito naman ang pamilya ko, Pare. My son, Ruel, his wife, Lita, their sons, Paulo, Nicko, Kian and their only daughter, Alyssa," pakilala ni Luis sa mga Valdez.

Miguel also shook the hands of the Valdezes. Nang makarating siya kay Alyssa, nakangiti niyang sinabing, "Ikaw pala si Alyssa. Dennise, halika." Lumapit naman si Den.

"Alyssa, this is my granddaughter --" Lolo Miguel was cut by Aly.

"Dennise Michelle Garcia "Denden" Lazaro. Former captain of CSA Makati. Current libero of the Ateneo Lady Eagles," Aly said while extending her hand to Den. Poker face on.

Tinanggap ni Den ang kamay ni Aly at sinabing, "And you are Alyssa Caymo "Aly" Valdez. Former captain of the UST Tigress Cubs. Currently, not playing for the UST Golden Tigresses. Bakit kaya?" nakangising sabi ni Den. Aly also gave her a smirk.

"This is good news. Magkaibigan pala ang mga apo natin," Luis said.

"Not exactly," sabay na sabi ni Aly at Den. They are still looking at each other at hindi pa nila binibitawan ang kamay ng isa't isa.

Just to break the tension, Lita said, "Let's go to the dining room. The food's waiting."

Habang nagkakamayan ang iba at nagkakakilala papunta sa dining area, naiwan silang dalawa. Binawi ni Aly ang kamay niya. Si Den naman ay kinuha ang sanitizer sa bag at ginamit ito.

Den headed to follow the rest.

"Wow. Bahay mo? Dire-diretso ah," Aly commented. Deadma lang si Den.
