"I'm really sorry that we have to cancel our plans. You know I can't say no to my parents talaga," said Den. She's on the phone talking to Andre.

"I know. Alam ko naman how much you respect lahat ng gusto nila for you. Hindi mo nga ako mapakilala kasi ayaw nila na magkaboyfriend ka pa di ba," said Andre with a tone of sadness in his voice.

"Hey, I'm really sorry. Just be patient. We'll come to that," sabi ni Den. Even she doesn't believe what she just said. Alam naman niya ang sitwasyon niya.

"Be patient? For how long? Two? Three years?" sunod-sunod na tanong ni Andre.

Four actually. Gusto sanang sabihin ni Den. But she decided to just remain silent.

Napansin naman ni Andre ang pananahimik ng girlfriend niya. "Hey, I'm just kidding. I'm willing to wait."

"Thanks," answered Den quietly.

"Anyway, may surprise ako for you. You'll soon see me on the silver screen."

"Silver screen? You mean..."

"Yep. I got the part!"

"Oh my gosh! I'm so happy for you, Hon," Den said happily.

"Well, I'm not the lead so don't be too giddy, Hon," nahihiyang sabi ni Andre.

"I don't care. I'm just so proud of you."

"Actually, kaya medyo okay lang sa akin na hindi matutuloy yung plans natin. I know I'll be busy with the movie."

"Well, if it was you who first said na hindi tayo matutuloy, I would be totally fine with that."

"Wow. I sure am the luckiest. Ang ganda na ng girlfriend ko, napakasupportive pa."

"At ako na ang may boyfriend na gwapong celebrity," sabi naman ni Den.

"Celebrity. I love that word."

"Hay naku ha. Nagsisimula pa lang parang lumalaki na ulo mo," biro ni Den.

"Haha. Joke lang, Hon. Anyway, I have to hang up na. We'll meet the team for the movie in a while. Tawag na lang ulit ako mamaya. I love you."

"Alright. Magfocus ka sa meeting ha. I love you too. Bye." And she ended the call.

Bigla namang bumukas ang pinto ng kwarto at pumasok si Alyssa na nakabusangot ang mukha. Padabog din itong humiga sa kama nito.

"I see yours didn't go well," pang-aasar ni Den. Tinutukoy niya ang pagpapaalam ni Alyssa kay Tricia na hindi na matutuloy ang mga plano nila.

"Didn't go well? That's an understatement. It was a disaster!" Aly said.

Aly sat up. "Galit na galit sa akin si Trish. Nakakainis nga kasi hindi naniniwala na si Lolo ang kasama ko for the vacation. Pinagbintangan pa ako na sasama lang ako sa barkada ko para mambabae."

"Well, I can't blame her," kibit-balikat na sabi ni Den.

"What?!" inis na tanong ni Aly.

"Well, you gave her reasons to think of you that way. More than 3 months pa lang kayo pero ang dami mo ng sakit ng ulo na binigay sa tao. Alam mo na ngang selosa yang girlfriend mo," sagot ni Den.

"Kay Ella mo ba nalaman ang mga yan? Grabe talagang daldal niya! Anyway, I didn't do anything wrong. Yung mga fans ang lumalapit sa akin and not the other way around," depensa ni Aly.
