This chapter is a bit sad. I figured I'd let you guys know so I don't get my throat ripped out by a certain somebody... Not going to mention any names cause she knows that I'm talking to her. XD

Group hug!! *hugs*

I feel myself swaying a bit. Was I dead?

"Just a few more feet guys," something vibrates against my cheek as the person speaks.

Wait a minute. I thought groggily. If I'm dead, why is...

"Oh thank god," I hear Cry exclaim. "It may not be our hotel but it's some place where we can sleep tonight."

I don't bother to open my eyes as someone sighs.

"Come on, Felix," Ken's voice soothing.

"Only a couple of more feet Bob," Wade's voice encouraging.

Why are my friends with me if I'm dead? A squeeeak sounds as someone opens the door.

"Isn't this breaking laws by entering this person's house?" A tired Swedish voice asks. Another vibration happens against my cheek as Anti chuckles.

"This is a game, Felix. There are no rules. Besides over 90% of the houses here in Trisela are abandoned, so we're good." A sharp pain in my side causes me to let out a groan.

"How's Mark?" Bob sounded really tired. Anti sighs.

"As far as I know he is fine, probably in pain but fine." Someone must've had a weird expression on their face because Anti adds, "don't beat yourself up you two. There are some wounds that magic can't heal."

Warmth suddenly seeps through my body, hearing the next question.

"So do who is going to an eye on him?"

"Don't worry about that," Anti says as it feels like we were going up some stairs. "You guys get some sleep. Since demons don't need any sleep, I'll share a room with him." Another door opens and closes behind us.

As soon as I was placed on a soft, gentle surface, I fell back asleep.

When I was woke up again, someone was stroking my hair. I open my eyes slowly. It was Anti.

Anti was staring straight ahead, his green eyes glazed over as if he was lost in thought. He leaned against a dark wall, still wearing the same outfit as last night, and I felt instantly bad. Was he doing this all night?

I wince in pain. "Good morning... I think," he stops stroking my hair and looks down at me.

"Not quite, but almost," Anti smiles sadly as I struggle to sit up right, hissing in pain. "You know if you still wanted to lay down you could. I don't mind."

"No, I got this," I mutter through clenched teeth, finally able to sit up. He coughs. I look over to see his razor sharp teeth chattering. "Are you cold?"

"No, but he is." I frown.

"Who is?"

"Jack." That was all it took for me to turn my body completely around on the bed so I was facing him, ignoring the screaming agony in my side.

"Wait a minute! You can feel his emotions?" Anti nods.

"Don't get yourself so worked up, I can't communicate with him in anyway." He glances over at me, green eyes dull in pain. "Great, you reopened your wound!" I shake my head.

"I don't care about my wound! I want to know everything. Start from the beginning!" I demand, crossing my legs. Anti sighs.

"No wonder Jack looks up to you," I blush a little.

"He looks up to me?" Anti nods, looking away.

"You're his role model and best friend. So when he was stabbed by the Queen in the other game, all he could think about was how he let you down." Tears well up in my eyes.

"But he didn't let me down. It wasn't his fault the Queen stabbed him," my voice shakes.

"That's what I said, but he didn't believe me." Anti's voice cracks. He coughs and continues. "When we woke up in this game, I was still inside his head. We were so confused on what happened. Jack had asked me if we were in a different game. I told him, I don't know. I really didn't know."

"But how did you guys get separated?" I asked, cutting him off.

"We weren't careful," he answers, his voice cracking. "Jack saw the same exact mirror as before, except this time it was bigger. The mirror showed me in my demon form. And Jack-" his voice cracks as a tear slides down his pale face. "And that's when Jack made me promise him. He said, 'I have a funny feeling, Anti. I need you to promise me, whatever happens, that you would protect my friends for me'" Another tear joins the first one.

"Something from behind shoves Jack forward into the mirror. It was pain that I never even could imagine before tears at both him and I. W-we both screamed. It hurt so much." My heart wrenches as Anti hides his face behind his hands, trying not to cry.

"The only thing I remember after that is waking up in a field with tall soft grass waving back and forth. The mirror laid shattered in front of me and Jack was gone." He sobs. Ignoring the stabbing pains from my wounds, I reach over and pulled him in for a consoling hug. Wet tears fall onto my bare chest as he buries his face into my neck.

"I-it was like he knew something was going to happen. Like he knew you guys would come looking for him. It was like he knew!"

"Shh," I mutter into his green hair, blinking away my own tears. "It will be alright."

"N-no i-it won't," Anti cries. For someone who was a demon like him, it was pretty hard to see someone so tough, crying. I rub his back as he sobs harder.

"Don't say such things," I said softly. "You have to have faith. You have to believe in yourself Anti."

"How can I?" He forces the words out in between sobs. "Jack's gone, and I have no idea where he is! All I know is whatever he feels!" More tears flow. I continue rubbing his back.

"Then we can use that to help find him. Don't worry, Anti. We will find him, you'll see."
