Chapter Thirty Nine: Why?

It was Joey. Landon was yelling at him, and Joey was just nodding with this eyes to the ground. I slowly walked down the stairs, and watched him for a while, until Joey heard me. He looked up, and kinda smiled. Landon tuned around, and gestured for me to come down to his side. When I got there Joey put his head back down. Landon took my hand, and pretty much shoved it in Joey's face.

Landon: You see this ring..? That means I love her and she loves me! So go take your sorry ass somewhere else.

I stood there in shock. I never heard Landon curse before. I think Landon was in shock too, but kept a serious face.

Joey: Erika, I just to let you know I'm sorry, and this never should have happened... I guess I'll go now...

Erika: ..No...

Joey and Landon: What?!

Erika: I'd at lease like an explanation...

Landon: After all he put you through..?

Erika: Yeah, just like you still wanting to be Brads friend. After all he did to me...? 

Landon: He's one of my best friends!

Erika: And Joey is one of mine.

Landon: Fine. Sit on the couch. Anybody want a drink? 

Erika: No, Joey?

Joey: I'm.. uh.. fine... thanks...

Erika: Okay Landon, sit down, and we'll all talk.

Landon sat down next to me, crossing his legs, and stretching his arm around me.

Joey: I never meant to hurt you. After all that happened I left Tyler. He clearly wasn't the person I thought he was. Then, Cat came over, and started flirting with me, and I wanted nothing to do with her, so I told her to leave. She told Luke I was in love with her, and that she would pick who she wanted to date. I don't wanna date Cat!! Luke won't believe me, and I lost my four best friends. Please understand I'm sorry. This all spiraled out of control!

Landon: So Tyler made you do all this?

Joey: I told you guys a while a go! Tyler didn't like you guys, and wanted me to ditch you guys, I never thought I'd hurt you that bad.

Erika: Well you did, Joey. But if I pushed away everyone in my life that hurt me, I'd never be here where I am... I forgive you...

Landon: I guess I do too.

Joey: Really? 

Erika: Yeah, but Luke is a whole different story, he's really mad!

Joey: I know. And that hurts. Every night I cry watching our videos, wishing I could redo it all. 

I saw tears swell in Joey's eyes. To my shock, Landon reached round me and patted my back. 

Landon: I know how that feels...

Joey: What..?

Landon: Dani and Brad. I love them so much, but have hurt me beyond repairing our relationship. I miss Dani more than anything.

Joey: But Dani is your sister, I mean, why would she hate you..?

Erika: Me...

I put my head down, and looked at the floor. I feel awful every time I think about it. Landon put his arm around me rubbing my shoulder.

Landon: Brad devolped a huge crush on Erika, and Dani hates her for it. Dani broke up with Brad because of it, and that made him enraged. He sent so much to Erika, and eventually he got back with Dani, and hated her together.

Joey: Well, what kind of hate?

Landon: At VidCon, Dani tried to start a fight, and got arrested. I haven't seen her since.

Joey: That fight was between you guys? 

Erika: Yeah, babe, could we not talk about this..?

Landon: Alright.

Joey: Well, I think I'm gonna go. I don't wanna leave Sawyer alone with the dogs for too much longer.

Erika: See you whenever Joey. 

We all got up, and I hugged Joey, then Landon shook his hand. Joey left our apartment, and I just walked upstairs.

Landon: Hey, where are you going?

Erika: I just just need to think. 

Loki followed me upstairs, and I picked him up at the top of the stairs. I lied down with him and played with his fur. You'd never hate me, would. He reached up, and licked my face. I rubbed his head, then stood up. I put some working out clothes on, and a leash on Loki. I walked downstairs, and waved to Landon.

Erika: I'll be back babe, I'm taking Loki out for a run.

Landon: I'll take Thor, I'm sure she'd like a run!

Erika: Okay, but hurry up! I'm pumped up!!

He rushed upstairs, Thor following him closely. It's still weird that we have a girl dog named Thor... Oh well. Landon came downstais in shorts and a tee shirt.

Erika: I realise it's LA, but shorts in Novermber..?

Landon: I'll be fine, don't worry.

Erika: ALright, let's go!

We walked out of our apartment, and jogged for about a half an hour. I was barely sweating, and Landon was dying. 

Erika: You okay?

Landon: Uhhhh... Yeah.. just didn't think you ran so much...

Erika: Run..? This is jogging!

Landon: When we get home we sould talk about Thanksgiving!

Erika: Definately! I say we go to Joel and Dana's house back in Philly!

Landon: After all that-

Erika: I can't ignore Joel forever, and I'm sure he forgives you by now!

Landon: Okay, so I guess we're flying to Philly! We should book a flight, Thanksgiving is only a week away...

Erika: Well find a flight, and if not, we'll fly to Scranton, nobody goes there! I lived there for a while, it's pretty.

Landon: Yeah, I've been there before! I prefomed at the University of Scranton! Huge campus! We also met the really cool girl who drew a picture of me!! It was so good, I think her name was Ema..?

Erika: Awesome, so Scranton it is! 

We jogged home, me carrying Loki, and Landon carrying Thor. When we got home we called Joel and made plans to stay for a few days, then we were going to Nashville to see Aaron and Brad. I couldn't wait to meet Aaron again! It's been so long! 

Landon: What about the dogs..? Who can we trust to watch them?

Erika: Luke can!! He loves these fuzzy cuties!

Landon: I thought they were dogs?

He winked at me, then texted Luke. 

Erika: Hey, we should do some covers!!

Landon: Actually, I have something else planned for tomorrow!

Erika: Oooh, what? 

Landon: Sorry, it's a suprise!

I showered and threw on a shirt, then Landon hoped in the shower. My phone started ringing, but I didn't answer for a while. I love my ringtone. Superluv by Shane Dawson, and when I picked up, it was actually Shane. We talked for a while, then agreed to do a video before I left. Landon come out of the bathroom, with only boxers on, then layed in bed next to me. I rolled over, facing him, resting my head on his chest. He kissed my forhead, and turned off the light. This is how the rest of my life is gonna be, and I'm happy for once.
