So that was it then. Francis was gone and there was nothing to do but wait. Jocelyn, Tulip, Michael and Adrianna were scared. "Francis? I consider him my own brother sometimes. Why?" Adrianna asked Jocelyn as she walked up the stairs from the basement.
"Just wondering. Most siblings partners don't get along well with the in-laws. From my experience anyway. Not that it matters much anyway" Jocelyn replied as she held Tulip at the top of the stairs then moved out of the way when Adrianna got to the top.
There was a knock which made both of them jump and let out a yelp. Jocelyn creaked the door open and peaked only to find- "Dustin?" She said.
"Jocelyn" he looked startled, then his eyes went to the mysterious baby in her arms. "I was just here to see Michael, what are you doing here?"
"I'm staying with Michael until his brother Francis gets back. I didn't know you knew Michael" Jocelyn replied. He looked of more to be in shock than question.
"Hey hey man" Michael squeezed past Jocelyn and the door. She stood there with her mouth open before he shut it.
"I didn't know you had a brother" Jocelyn heard Dustin say before Michael tried to cut him off.
Michael gave out a nervous chuckle then rubbed the back of his neck. "How much did she say to you?" He asked.
"Not much, just that y'all were waitin for 'em. I remember Jocelyn from school" Dustin gave an awkward smiled to them both. After a long silence he said "who's this little cutie" he referred to Tulip as he got a bit closer. Jocelyn moved her arms out a bit so he could see her better.
"This is Tulip. My daughter" she replied and gasped when she saw his eyes widen.
"Daughter? But Jocelyn we haven't even been outta school for two months!"
"Why don't you come in Dustin" Michael cut him off.
Dustin walked inside and as Michael closed the door, Jocelyn still next to him mouthed "does he know?" Michael nodded. "Everything!" She almost said out loud with the "are-you-serious" face. He nodded once more then plopped on the couch next to Dustin.
"Your not gonna tell me are you?" Dustin looked at her.
"I can tell you I became Chaos, I have a per infant Zieo bond with Francis and our enemy leader kidnapped me and injected something in me to make Tulip grow faster than usual but she is Francis's and my daughter. Luckily her growth wasn't affected when she was born so I get to carry my little girl everywhere for a while" she kissed the top of Tulip's head "and now we're all stuck here waiting to see if anyone survives the battle" she explained. Then felt a sudden dizziness as a voice whispered in her head.
Adrianna rushed toward her and grabbed Tulip as Michael helped steady Jocelyn.
"I'll always watch you Jocelyn. You can't escape from me. Soon you'll be mine and I'll kill you when you are. Francis is taken care of, if you wish for your loved ones to live you will come to me willingly in three days time alone" it said.

"Dear Jocelyn:
Everything seems fine so far. The actual battle hasn't begun yet but until then I'll be stuck in Crawford's hell for a few more days. Everyone's alright, sadly I cannot give you this letter face-to-face so I'll have someone get it to you. I hope you and Tulip are doing ok. You're my motivation Jocelyn. I love you so much there is no action or words that can describe how much I do. I cannot wait to see you and when I do it'll be a night you'll never forget
Love: Francis."
Francis folded the letter then gladly gave it to someone else who left immediately. Sadly they were banished from being Chaos so they couldn't fly and he'd rather have someone hand it to her instead of snail mail.
He night of cealing the bond repeats in his head. His lips on hers, sliding his hands up and down her body as they made love. Then e sight of seeing Tulip for the first time made him lighten up.
He wasn't gonna be the guy who keeps reminding her about it over and over then just leave. Francis didn't care about anyone but himself until he met his Zieo. He just hoped to kill Gryff and all Forsaken and get back to his new fiancé and daughter.
Something bad was gonna happen. He could feel it. The sound of screaming and the smell of smoke brought him out of his daydream.
