Chapter 11 (Day 2 of hiding)

This was strange, Caitlin knew she needed to tell her daughter that she's becoming a Chaos again which meant she would, and that she's becoming a princess because her mother was becoming High Queen. Caitlin was nervous to tell her daughter, but she was mostly nervous about getting married. To a man who was very powerful, a man who she's always loved who always loved her.

The thought made her smile and the King noticed "what's with the smile?" He asked.

"I was thinking that I'm marrying a man who I don't even know his name" she replied.

He rolled his eyes and looked down "my name is dumb" he said.

"Oh come on it can't be horrible, unless it's Hubert then I'd have a problem" she giggled and he smiled because he knew she was joking.

He nodded "ok" he paused "it's Crawford, Crawford Hunt" he finished. Caitlin smiled.

"Just throw the girl back into her room, make sure she's dead too. Don't use anything we use, use a human weapon, we don't need people wondering about our world. The King would never trade the girl for her anyway so no use on keeping her" the leader said.

"Lord Griff!" A man yelled at the end of the hall. The leader (Lord Griff) turned and looked at the man in between the door frames.

"What is it?" He asked impatiently.

"The real girl is here, Jocelyn is it? She came alone and willingly" he replied.

This was strange, if Jocelyn came here alone she must've known she was looking into a trap, she had to have some escape plan. Unless she was just plain stupid, but if she is then a war would break open and she doesn't want her friend otherwise she would've come through the doors herself. 

The servant moved out of the way.

Jocelyn walked through the doors and she looked as scared as hell itself and Lord Griff had seen it. "Finally, we meet in person" she said.

I can't believe I'm doing this! Francis will kill me if he finds out I'm here Jocelyn thought to herself. She was scared out of her wits because she knew she was going to die. "Now where's my friend?" She asked.

"Ah Jocelyn, I'm very happy to meet you, not really but since your being nice I'll try. My name is Griff, Lord Griff, I am the leader of the Foreshadowed. I protect people called the Foresaken also" Griff said with an evil smile.

Jocelyn felt angry inside of her, she felt like taking her self-sword, activating it then throwing it aat his head. But that would get her no where, everyone would be after her and the King would have no other choice but to banish her since she was such a threat. "Who are the Foresaken?" She asked.

"I like to think of them as common humans. You see, once upon a time here these brothers that everyone called the "Killing Beasts", their eyes were stitched wide open, their tongues cut out but could still speak. One day, two of the brothers, Pip and Hunter, were walking on the new planet you humans called "Earth" and met Adam and Eve. They were given many special powers since they were the first two people, with their own eyes, to see these two first race humans.

"Pip and Hunter joined back with their brothers and thought that if they saw the two new aliens they would get the power to. And they all did, all twenty of those brothers got the gift. The youngest brother -Joshua- met a girl, and she was just like Joshua. It turned out that she was the youngest of her twenty sisters, she had one gift that none of her other sisters had, like Joshua only with his brothers. Three days later Joshua introduced the girl -Cecily- to his brothers, and said he wished to be married to her.

"The brothers laughed at Joshua and the oldest said "'Alright brother, I'll make you a deal. Once you have wedded this girl you are too make a child, if the child lives I as all of us brothers, will marry her sisters, youngest to oldest and produce our own children. Once they've grown we will pick either Adam or Eve to be with a different of our kind and produce a child, one of our children with be with that child and make a new race, named the Foreshadowed"' and as it turned out, he made it prophecy as he had seen it three days ago when Joshua met Cecily in a dream.

"And at exactly what happened, all of it came true. Ten centuries later, here we are today" Lord Griff said taking a breath.

"Hmm, interesting. So the Foresaken were the Brothers of Joshua and the Sisters of Cecily?" Jocelyn asked.

Griff nodded "I am one of their children, I cannot age, nor can I grow. When I was about thirty that's when my life cycle went permanent" he replied.

"But there's a new prophecy, otherwise I wouldn't be here and you wouldn't want me dead" she remembered about the new so called prophecy. 

"Haha! Clever girl, yes there is in fact. A new prophecy created by the Angel Raziel himself. As you already may know, each Chaos people is born with a permanent power or can be put on by spells, but you are one of the Chaos that is born from every generation of Chaos. But the Chaos generations hasn't changed, it hasn't changed since that man became King which was a very long time ago, I had already killed that person but for some reason you are the new one. The person is called "Mother Chaos" and as I said was dead the first year the King ruled.

"I don't understand why there's another one now. The prophecy says you'll destroy me and all Foreshadowed and all Foresaken, I plan to end that" he said.

"But wait, if I'm gonna die then why did you tell me all this?" She asked. And once he had noticed, familiar arms flew around her and lifted her into the sky. Griff cursed and yelled at his people to chase after her, Jocelyn looked down at him, and smiled before he was out of sight.
