Twenty eight.

"BRIDGETTE GET UP!" I hear someone shout while violently shaking me. I groan and kick the person. I open my eyes and see Raven glaring at me. "You did not just kick me!" She shouts.

"Why are you in my room Raven?"

"Because I've gotten instructions from Cameron to get you ready for today so HA! I HAVE PERMISSION TO BE IN YOUR ROOM!"

"What's the time?"

"It's 8." I jumped off the bed kicking the covers.

"I SLEPT UNTIL 8 AT NIGHT?!" I tripped in the blankets and fell on the floor.

"DONT HURT YOURSELF I NEED YOU IN MINT CONDITION FOR TONIGHT!" She helps me up and places me on the bed.

"Why do you keep going on about tonight and today? What's today? IS IT MY BIRTHDAY?" She facepalms.

"You're such a dumbass I swear." She grabs a really big box from my desk. Why was there a box on my desk?

"What's that?" She puts the box on my lap and hands me a small card with my name on it.

Dear Bridgette,

Happy one year baby! Enjoy the gifts. I can't wait to see you wear this tonight. You will look gorgeous.

"One year? OH MY GOD IM SUCH A BAD GIRLFRIEND!" Raven laughs at me and I throw a pillow at her.

"I'm not the one who forgot my one year anniversary." I roll my eyes and open the box.

It was a beautiful beige coloured dress. There was another box on top of the dress. A silver chain with a white pearl at the end of it with matching earrings. I smiled and placed it all next to me.

"Okay so the plan for the day is; going and getting your hair done, picking up something for Cameron, lunch break, shopping, come home and do your make up and get dressed, wait for tonight to come. And once your gone I can open a bottle of wine with Carter." She says clapping her hands.

"Sounds like a big day."

"Yes so don't get all tired. We need you energetic for tonight."

"Give me heaps of candy then." She thinks about it and nods.

I lay back down and she throws some clothes at me so I could get changed.

"We leave in 20 minutes. Hurry up." She closes the door and I begin to get ready for the day.

My hair now has blonde streaks running through it and is a little shorter than it was before.

I picked out a gold Rolex watch for Cameron and an iTunes gift card.

Raven punched a guy while we were getting food cause he wolf whistled and wouldn't apologise. Carter will be proud of his girl.

Now it's about 5pm and I'm getting my make up done by Raven.

"Carter and I won't be here hand you get back. You two need some alone time and we need some alone time." She smiles like an idiot after saying that.

"I don't need mini Ravens and Carters running around Raven." She hits my arm and continues my make up.

"It should be me saying that about you and Cameron. Carter and I don't want kids yet okay so shush." I poke my tongue at her and she finishes with the eyeshadow.

"Do you think that Cameron and I will ever be more than just boyfriend and girlfriend?" I say out of no where. She stops with my mascara and sits in front of me.

"Why wouldn't you two?"

"Everything that's happened between us. I know we've been together for a year but what if from tonight on it all changes."

"Sometimes Bee, people are only with someone through guilt and they don't truly love them."

"I do love him!"

"You didn't let me finish. Your relationship is different. You both have moved on with what happened in the past. You're both someone new and improved and better people. Changes are good and I can tell you one thing, tonight is going to be one of the best nights of your life."

I close my eyes and try to imagine what I should be prepared for tonight.

Food fight between me and Cameron?

A really bad fight?

Or just a perfect anniversary dinner between me and him?
