It was the summer of 2011, I was going to be a sophomore in high school. That whole summer we stayed in a house we rented in the Lake of the Ozarks. I liked the place, it was small, comfy, and had a great view of the sunset across the lake. I didn't mind being away from my friends all summer because I Skype, text and snapchat with them all the time. Another plus is that I don't have to go to weight lifting at 6:30 every morning. I like being away from that small town once in awhile, things are always the same thing everyday, nothing is out of the usual. Here I can do what ever I desire. I spent most of my days tanning, writing on wattpad, having glee marathons and riding around the lake on the jet ski or boat.

"Blair, we're going to bed. Be sure to shut the lights off when you go to sleep." called my mom from the front room.

"Yeah" I responded.

"Goodnight"

"Yeah." I repeated it in a rude way. Its not that I mean to be rude, I just don't feel like talking to her. When I was sure they were asleep I took a straw-ber-ita out to the dock with me and I sat and looked up at the crescent moon and stars glistening over the lake. I do this almost every Friday night. I just come out here, watch the stars, think about life, and have a drink.

A noise of someone walking on a dock was heard in the distance. I froze, nobody is ever out here at this time, its 1a.m. From across the small bay I could barely see the figure now sitting on the dock. Everything went silent and it was kind of eerie, as if that person could see me too. I waited for 15 minutes for the figure to move, but it didn't. So I finished my drink and walked back into the cabin for 5 minutes then walked back out, the person was gone.

The next day I woke up at 11am, which was very nice. It was cleaning day so I picked up some and did laundry and dishes, then the rest of the afternoon I spent jet skiing. All day I found myself always glancing at that house across the bay to see if anyone would come out, but no one did.

That night we road across the lake to Papa Chubby's for dinner. As we glided over the waves I couldn't help but admire the gorgeous sunset over the water. It made a great instagram picture.

Papa Chubby's is a popular pizza shack on the West side of the lake. We go here pretty often and have became friends with people who work there. Dad wants me to get a job there for the summer, I'm not sure if I'm willing to give up my days of relaxation.

Today at Papa Chubby's there was a new waiter who just happened to be ours. He was a teenager but he looked a bit older then me. But he seamed so familiar its crazy. I must say he was pretty dang cute. He had really pretty blue eyes, an almost contagious smile, and the cutest dimples I'd ever seen.

Looking at his name tag my dad asked "Drew Adams? Do you happen to live around Lansford, Indiana?"

"Yeah actually I am, I am, I just graduated this year." he looked at me "You're going to be a sophomore right?" I shook my head kind of surprised. "My sister Emily is going to be a junior, you guys are pretty good friends right?"

"Yeah, she's a good friend," I responded surprised.

He then got our drink orders and came back with our drinks. He then took our order, we got a large pepperoni pizza with cheese sticks, like always.

"Do you know him?" asked my mom as he walked away.

"Well I've seen him around in the halls sometimes; I really didn't notice him though." I answered. The conversation then ended and we talked about other things until our pizza arrived. We were seated outside so we got to eat under the rising moon, watching that lights from the ships run across the calm waters. When we were done my parents went to the dock to get on the boat but the new waiter stopped me to talk.
