Waking up to the sound of thunder and rain beating down on the windows was actually a relief. The past how ever many days have been non stop going places. Maybe today we can just stay inside and watch Glee on Netflix all day on the couch. We did that a little yesterday and it was really relaxing. Plus I really need a lazy day, I'm so tired and really don't feel like running. We have a bunch of things on the list that can be done inside.
I sent a text to Drew telling him I'd be ready around 10 if he could pick me up (really didn't want to walk in the rain) and to be ready for Netflix and Nutella. I sigh as I send the text, just seeing my two favorite words that start with N in the same text warms my heart.
I rolled out of bed and walked upstairs to the smell of bacon.
"Morning" mom was in the kitchen making bacon and pancakes.
"Is something wrong?" I walk over and sit on a stool around the island. My mom never makes anything, we all pretty much fend for ourselves for food. Unless she has some spark of inspiration, or is just in a certain mood.
"Nope! Just felt like making breakfast today!" She answered. "It's raining today, you still going to hang out with Drew?"
"Yeah mom." I walk over and get a plate. "We only have three more days together. I'll be with him as much as possible." I put the food on my plate and go sit down. Mom comes and sits down with her plate beside me.
"I understand, but you realize, you won't be able to see him for a really long time. I'm worried that you've gotten too attached." She took a minute to eat her bacon, I stayed silent. "I think you will have a rough time coming back into reality at home. It will be really hard on you, I can already see it."
What she was saying was true, and I knew it. "I'll be fine." I lied, she could probably tell too.
"I'm just warning you!"
"I know." I said and took a bite of my pancakes.

"Sup?" I hopped into Drew's truck wearing my now damp sweat pants and Hoosiers t-shirt, and holding a container of Nutella in my hand. My bun was already messed up. I guess that doesn't matter though because it's supposed to be a messy bun.
"Not much." He looked me up and down and shook his head in approval. He was also looked like he had just rolled out of bed. His messy hair, and tired eyes actually was pretty hot I must say. "I see you got the memo on today's attire." His sleepy voice was even hotter in person than on the phone.
"I'm to tired to do anything." We were headed down the road to his house now.
He laughed tiredly, "Same."
We got to his house and I got two spoons from the kitchen, then we headed straight to the couch with my Nutella. Sarge jumped up in between us, and decided to stay there.
"Glee again?" Drew asked and I knew Glee probably wasn't his favorite.
"Would you like the watch something else?" I asked.
"Well... I was thinking we could have a scary movie marathon."
That wasn't a bad idea actually. "That actually sounds nice." He scrolled threw the scary movies, "How about that one?" It was called Insidious, it looked.. interesting. He clicked play, moved Sarge over beside him and moved closer to me.
