My phone started buzzing on the bedside table. Nathan groaned, "leave it," Nathan mumbled and pulled me closer.

I opened my eyes sleepily and sighed, "what if it's important?" I asked and rubbed my eyes.

Nathan shrugged, "then they can leave a message. I'm trying to sleep," Nathan whined before the phone stopped buzzing.

I got comfortable again and looked at Nathan while he went back to sleep again. Nathan opened his eyes and gave a sleepy smile, "it's creepy to stare babe," Nathan mumbled before yawning.

I poked his bare chest, "whatever, what we doing today?" I asked.

Nathan trailed his hand up and down my arm, "sleep sounds good. Sleep all day with food." Nathan suggested.

I laughed a little, "that does sound good." I joked before my phone started ringing again.

Nathan groaned and leaned over me picking the phone up before answering it, "what?" he snapped.

I tried getting my phone back off him but he kept turning away. I smacked Nathan's back annoyed before sitting up right with a pout, Nathan winked at me, "Brooke piss off we are sleeping." Nathan said.

"No she doesn't want to go shopping with you now fuck off," Nathan snapped before hanging up and then handing me my phone, "Brooke was on the phone," he said and leaned in to kiss me but I turned my head so he kissed my cheek instead.

I started calling Brooke again ignoring Nathan's frustrated look, "Brooke it's Lexi, yeah I'll go shopping with you. I'll meet you in town in an hour," I said.

"Alright, control your boyfriend he's a dick," Brooke muttered.

I looked at Nathan who was glaring at me while chewing on his lip ring, "yeah I'll try. See you soon." I said before hanging up.

I put my phone back on charge before kissing Nathan's cheek and then got out of his bed and went over to where my bag of clothes were. I picked out a pair of grey skinny jeans with a dip dye t-shirt as well as new underwear and a grey hoodie. I looked over at Nathan who was frowning at me.

"What happened to sleep and food?" Nathan asked.

"But it's shopping. You could always join us," I teased.

Nathan rolled his eyes before standing up and walking over to me, he wrapped his arms around me and leaned his head on my shoulder, "I might take you up on that idea," Nathan smirked before kissing my cheek.

"I need to shower," I mumbled.

"Yeah you do," Nathan teased and poked my side, "maybe I could join you."

I glared at him playfully, "coming from you? And no, I'm good thanks. See you soon," I said before turning around and leaning up to kiss his cheek and then I grabbed my bathroom things before heading to the bathroom.

I locked the door before turning the shower on. I waited for the warm water to start running before I undressed and then got into the warm water. I shampooed my hair before washing it out and then conditioned it, while leaving the conditioner in for a few minutes I shaved my legs and under my arms before washing my body and then rinsing out my hair thoroughly.

When I was done I grabbed a towel after turning the water off and wrapped it around my body drying off. I grabbed my hair brush and brushed through my hair before using my small towel and then dried my face. I brushed my teeth before moisturising my face. When I was done I got changed into my clothes for today and then folded the towels up. I grabbed my things and put them in my wash bag before making sure the bathroom was alright and then leaving.

I went back into Nathan's room and saw him still in his boxers but he was on his bed with the television on watching football. I put my things away and grabbed a hair band before tying my hair up. I went and sat next to Nathan, he wrapped an arm around me before kissing the side of my head, "I'm getting a shower now. Be good," he said and stood up.

I rolled my eyes, "coming from you?" I asked.

Nathan chuckled before walking away and into his bathroom. I watched the football for another minute before getting bored. I got up and checked the time on my phone, 11:34 I was meeting Brooke at 12. My stomach rumbled and I debated whether or not I should go downstairs, I would be rude to go downstairs wouldn't I?

During the debate with myself the door opened and Jess walked in, "Lexi! I thought I heard you come in last night." Jess grinned.

I smiled at her, "oh yeah. How are you?" I asked her.

She shrugged, "alright. He hasn't been around since the last time, thanks for talking to me." Jess smiled.

I smiled back at her before feeling guilty if I had just done what he said it wouldn't have happened but I had to ruin it, Nathan will hate me if he ever found out, "so you want breakfast or something? Since I don't think Nathan will offer." Jess joked.

I nodded my head, "yeah please."

"Cool, follow me then," Jess said and we walked downstairs.

We went into the kitchen and I saw Karen at the table looking at something before putting it away, "morning girls," Karen smiled. She seemed a lot happier today. She was always happy but she just seemed excited.

"Hey mum," Jess said.

"Lexi can I talk to you for a moment?" Karen asked.

I nodded my head, oh god she probably disapproves of mine and Nathan's new relationship. Oh crap.

I followed Karen into the empty living room and bit my lip nervously. She turned around and looked at me.

"I just want to say thank you for making Nathan happy again. He hasn't been the same since Vicky. You seem to understand him so thank you," Karen said.

I looked at her shocked, "oh right yeah I know what it's like to lose someone close to you."

Karen nodded her head sympathetically, "you seem like someone who will keep him grounded. He needs that."

I nodded my head not knowing what else to say, "lets go get you some breakfast," Karen laughed.

I gave a small smile as we left the living room and went into the kitchen. Jess looked at me and I smiled at her reassuringly before she handed me a bacon roll on a plate.

"Thanks," I said and sat down at the kitchen table.

Jess sat opposite me, "it's fine. Oh look it's happy," Jess said sarcastically as Nathan walked into the room.

Nathan shot her a glare before running a hand through his damp hair, "piss off." He snapped.

Karen gave him a look and he rolled his eyes, "what are you all doing today?" Karen asked and handed Nathan a bacon roll.

Nathan said nothing as he started to eat the roll, "I'm going shopping with Brooke." I answered.

"I'm going to a friends house," Jess mumbled before her phone buzzed, "and there's my lift. See you later," Jess said before leaving.

"Nathan what are you doing today?" Karen asked as she finished her coffee.

Nathan shrugged again not saying anything. I shot him a look from across the kitchen table and kicked his leg. Nathan looked up at me sharply and glared at me but I just gave him an innocent smile.

"Right well I'll see you two later. I'm going to see Paul," Karen said before leaving.

"Why did you kick me?" Nathan snapped after his mother left.

"Because you were being a dick and weren't answering," I replied annoyed.

Nathan rolled his eyes before standing up and putting his plate away. I stood up as well and put my plate away as well before he wrapped his arms around my waist and pulled me into his chest.

"Just stay here today," Nathan mumbled into my neck.

I blushed, "I'm going shopping with Brooke. You could always join us," I teased and turned around in his grip so I could face him.

He raised an eyebrow, "only if you get to try on some new underwear and I get to see," he winked.

I smacked his chest, "you are disgusting. I need to go," I said and pulled away from him before getting my keys out of my pocket and started walking towards the door.

Nathan grabbed my arm making me stop, "can't we just go back to bed," he whined.

I smiled slightly before turning to look at him and kissed his cheek, "see you later Nathan." I said before he let go of me and I walked out the door.

I shivered when the cold air hit me before carefully walking to my car. I got in and warmed the car up before I started driving into town. I made it into town before getting out by costa and I saw Brooke waiting inside. I locked my car and headed inside and smiled at Brooke.

"Your boyfriend is a dick," Brooke said as I sat down.

I nodded my head, "trust me I know." I laughed.

Brooke handed me a hot chocolate and I smiled at her before drinking it, "so where is my favourite Sykes?" Brooke asked looking around.

"At his house," I said.

"You don't think he followed you?" Brooke asked raising an eyebrow.

"No, why would he?" I answered.

Brooke looked around again, "anyone can see how deep he has fallen for you. He's really protective of you," Brooke replied.

"I'm pretty sure he hasn't," I said before looking around costa.

"Right. So you can finish your drink before we go shopping, I just need to get a few things." Brooke said.

I nodded my head and finished my hot chocolate before we stood up, "where to first?" I asked as we left the shop.

"Primark, they are really cheap," Brooke said.

"Ok," I answered and snow began falling again.

We went into Primark and headed over to the women's clothing, Brooke looked through the t-shirts and I looked through the jumpers.

"I'm going to try these on," Brooke said pulling out a couple of t-shirts. I nodded my head.

"Alright I'll be around here," I smiled before Brooke left to go try the clothes on.

I picked up a blue hoodie and looked at it before putting if back down on the rail, "hey pretty lady," a voice said.

I turned around and saw a guy, I looked at him confused, "erm hi," I said.

"Can I get the pretty name to the pretty face? I'm Blake," he said.

I bit my lip, "it's Lexi." I said after a few moments and started walking away slowly but he followed.

"Cute. Can I get your number?" he asked cornering me. He placed his hand on my waist and I was nearly sick.

"I have a boyfriend," I said quickly.

Blake shrugged and moved a strand of my hair away from my face, "I can share." Blake replied.

My eyes widened and I tried to move away but he kept me against the wall, why was no one helping?

"Leave her alone," a deep voice said.

I looked behind Blake and saw Nathan, I let out a sigh of relief, "and why should I do that?" Blake asked turning around to face Nathan before his face was drained of any colour.

"Because she's my fucking girlfriend so I suggest you fuck off and don't come near her again. If I get told you have or you even look in her direction I will not be responsible for my actions, and don't even think about her. Got it?" Nathan said with a deep voice.

Blake nodded his head quickly before going to leave but Nathan gripped his arm harshly, "now apologise to her for being a dick," Nathan snapped.

I gulped, "I'm sorry," Blake muttered.

"Now say it like you mean it," Nathan said harshly.

I looked at Nathan, "it's doesn't matter," I said quietly, "just go."

Nathan glared at Blake before pushing him away and Blake quickly left. Nathan then looked at me before I walked up to him and wrapped my arms around him, "you didn't have to be so harsh," I mumbled into his chest, "and were you following me?"

"You're mine. Of course I needed to be harsh, are you ok?" Nathan asked, "and maybe."

I nodded my head, "thank you," I whispered.

"Don't mention it," Nathan mumbled, "seriously don't mention it I have a reputation."

I looked up at him and started giggling while he winked at me then kissed my forehead, "this is a girls day out why are you here?" Brooke asked folding her arms.

I pulled out of Nathan's hold and smiled at Brooke, "well err... he was following us," I said.

Nathan rolled his eyes and chewed on his lip ring, "whatever," he muttered.

Brooke looked between us before grinning, "you two are like an angel and a devil," Brooke said, "anyway Nathan fuck off."

Nathan flipped her off before turning and looking at me, "go I'll be fine." I said.

Nathan nodded his head before pressing his lips against mine. His cold lip ring felt naturally against my lips as I moved them in sync with his. When he pulled away my cheeks were flushed red before he winked at me with a smirk and then left the shop.

I looked at Brooke who was grinning at me, "young love," she teased.

"Are you getting the t-shirts?" I asked changing the subject.

Brooke shook her head, "nope. You want anything here?" Brooke asked.

I shook my head, "no," I replied.

She nodded her head and we left the shop, "new look?" Brooke asked.

I nodded my head, "sure," I replied and we walked into the other shop.
