"You love me"
"I pity you"
"You love me"
"I feel sorry for you"
"YOU LOVE ME!??"
"I NEVER LOVED YOU! I NEVER DID!"
A strong blast of thunder crackled the midnight sky as Tom awoken from him slumber, his forehead was filled with beads of sweat and his hands trembled nervously.
Another one He said, scratching the back of his neck as his thoughts came drifting back to his dream or nightmare. He couldn't quite know it yet. They were a mixture of both.
The soft, yellow light of his bedside lamp indicated that nighttime was still upon him, covering his room whole like a blanket full of snow in a plain field on a winter weather.
Tom stretched from his bed, liking how the rain sounded from the ceiling and stayed still for a moment as he felt his bones ache and crack in the process, And still so, He was still dreaming about Robert. For weeks, this has happened, on the exact same time, exact feeling and exact damn scene.
It was like a strong smash of cold wind that came through him, shaking him in an instance. He even felt his whole body shiver at the thought of him arguing with Robert. The way he looked, the way his face was filled with devastation and anguish that destroyed him whole.
His soft, welcoming eyes that radiated warmth, his hypnotic and endearing smile on a lazy Sunday morning with the light shining lightly on his face. The beauty, the memory and the feeling. It was unlike anything he ever felt before, sure they fought. Alot. But that doesn't mean he enjoyed his company more than he anticipated.
And only now he's realizing that.
Fuck me Tom groaned as he sat by the edge of his bed. With the rain's downpour growing more strongly by the second. He stood up and looked around him. Empty
It showed nothing but a dimly-light walls and rainbow colored windows from numerous lights outside his room. Even his plant was beginning to give up as it began to lose it's lush. Just a withered plant waiting to be tossed out.
Tom then decided to walk near the window, maybe a wee bit of soothing, drenched empty roads will able to relax his running mind. But that is not what he expected to see.
From the far right, a figure stood against the pouring rain. It was a man, clearly. Tom leaned closer to the window trying to decipher the mans face, but the of road was far to dark for him to even recognize a face. He didn't feel nervous or anything, Tom just felt an ominous vibe radiating from the that mysterious man who continued to stare at his direction.
Still, Tom planted his feet firmly on the ground and his eyes frozen at the figure across the street.
Who is this He thought, taking mandatory deep breath as he felt his finger twitch for a split second. An indication that Tom was affected by this man.
The figure then took a step forward and Tom felt his heartbeat quicken as he hid away from view.
-
Even though it never showed, Tom was hurting on the inside. After all, those memories he had with Robert were not just normal things that happens to just about everyone. But on the outside, he was impenetrable in the eyes of his co-workers, unknown to the hidden truth that was always lurking inside him.
Maybe this would be good for me, An acceptance, A cure.
By seven, Tom was already at the venue, ready to take on a new world of challenges. Everything seemed bland, the paper files were arranged in a neat way, the social children of the office sat quietly at there places. And there was a low, cultivating sound in the office of the aircondition. It was weird in Tom's opinion.
