For some, love is nothing but a cautionary tale of an endless pursuit of an illusion in which we wish to obtain. But for others, love is a weapon. A choice, A devastation and a miracle. But when it's mixture of both, Fire and Ice. One will perish without the other.
It was four—thirty in the morning when Tom had awoken from his slumber. His heart beated erraticly as well as his mind that wondered about in mixed emotions. He suddenly thought about the very nightmare he was trying to save himself from. Hagen, that son of satan was out for him.
He could only imagine what would happen if he finally succumbed to him, to be with him. Actually, Marriedly with him. Would he be a good husband? Tom smiled bitterly at that thought. Of course not. But then again, the remaining childhood memories the two had spent was something golden. It was something magical.
Times where Tom and Hagen would hangout, talk about there days whenever The Delacroix Family (Hagen’s) and The Callahan Family would have a reunion of some sort that there minds were not yet capable of understanding. It was so simple back then, the laughter and mid-night talks covered most of the two most powerful son’s life. But like all things, happiness weren’t meant to last in there line of work.
Tragedy has strucked there world and the two were forced to abandon each other and learn to hate out of loyalty. Years passed and they remained civil to each other, contrary to there family that was always guarded with fifty armed men whenever the two icons would meet. Never letting anything cross the line that was drawn.
Remembering the moments they shared, how his blonde hair would be arranged in a disheveled manner against the cool breeze of the ocean air. Or how everytime they would sit and talk on the beach about how stupid it is they were secluded from the actual world. It was like they were stuck in the time where King’s and Queen’s walked the lands and Dragons ruled the sky. He smiled to himself like a fool, those were truly pleasant and exceptional memories.
He stood up from his bed and ran over to his cabinets and searched the entire furniture that was about twice the size of him. He searched thoroughly, feeling he misplaced the very item his friend gave him on his nameday. A green emerald that was uncut, pure from the hands of man that Hagen found on one of his cave exploration of the island.
Since then, he kept it hidden from his family, knowing his mother would scold him for it. Never borrow anything from A Kensignton, they would want it back one way or another. His mother once said, he thinks. The saying was not so clear as he remembered.

The faint sounds of waves crashing against the jagged rocks reached his ears as he stared at his friend from a safe distance. He ascended from the ocean. His body glinting with sparkling, blue drops of water that covered his body like pure starlight. His gold hair pulled back in a messy manner.
He looked like he came out of a movie, others would say. Or the person behind every romance book ever written. It was still surprising in Tom’s favor that this man was his soon to be husband. And no girl, or men will ever take him away from him. He was his, as he was to him. The two missing piece of the puzzle, sugar and spice, white and black.
It was true, these two were unseperable. And there world revolved around each other, literally! Because of the limited lands of there islands, they were the center of each others universe. And no one could tear them apart.
“And I’d thought you'd hate the beach, and yet here you are” Hagen smiled, his face lighting up in the most glorious of ways as he sat next to Tom, there feet burrowed in sand.
