Zayn's POV
I had to stay on my guard even more now, since Alina pulled that stunt back there. I don't think she'd be going anywhere. At least anytime soon. I did belt her pretty hard and may have slightly gotten out of hand, with the temper I have.
I don't really like hitting the girls. They were already dealing with a lot, so for us to hit them on top of it. I didn't like but I wasn't afraid to do it. Sometimes it just needs to get done. I squeeze the wheel in frustration. I've been giving myself this rant inside my head for the past hour or so. Almost, as if I feel bad for hitting Alina.
Which I don't because, it's part of the job. I didn't need to explain myself to anyone much less her. So I imaginarily grab these stupid thoughts, then shove them way into the back of my head.
Right now what I need to focus on is getting Alina and I out of the country. We are in LA still but I have to get us to a hotel. My guy that works with all the paperwork and travel documents would have get good headshot a for Alina's papers. I had less than 17 hours to get her out of the country.
Once word got out she was missing, her face will be plastered everywhere. Making that a living hell for someone with the kind of job I have. I could go for altering her image up a bit but it might not even help. Alina has that kind of face that doesn't change. No matter what you do.
The girl is beautiful.
"Can you tell me what happens next?" Alina speaks up sniffling making me look over to where she is. Alina's long legs are rested up on the seat curled into her chest. One hand is up by the head of the seat where I had cuffed her too.
"I could, but I'm won’t." I answer simply.
"Why not?" She sniffs more.
"I don't need to give you any answers. You don't get to ask any questions Alina." I snap.
"Can you tell me your name at least?" Alina requests. I look over with what I hope is a threatening glare to intimidate her.
"You don't need to know my name Alina. It doesn't matter anyways." I bluntly deny the request.
"You seem to know a lot about me. Maybe that's because you spent some time plotting tokidnap me. You're destroying my life. I don't think you get that, because this is something you must do often. But whoever you are, you're destroying my life! "
"I will graduate from high school in about two months. I applied for a lot of colleges and I got into the one I wanted too. I have family and friends that care about me! I have a life! A life that you just picked me right up and out of. So me, asking for your name is a small thing in comparison to what's being doing to me." Alina blurts out and when she's done, her breathes came out in pants.
I kept my eyes on the road refusing to be distracted. I had a job I need to get done. I don't have time to answer any of her questions. I didn't want too anyways. Alina could ask all she wants, but in the end I had the power to decide.
Everything that concerns Alina was in my power. Would she live? Would she die? What was her new role in this "Life". Since she was no longer going to be a part of hers.
I am a monster. I truly am, because I do this to girls and I enjoy it. Not the destroying their life part, I didn't care anyways. It's the part where I'm good at my job. The part where I'm the best. I could have chosen any job in the world and strived at it. Instead I had a rough start in life, and if it wasn't for Zerrick, I would be rotting somewhere in the slums of Bradford.
