CHAPTER 8

I tried to hide my face and walked a little bit quickly as if I am in a hurry. I looked back quickly to see who it was and saw a middle-aged woman in the last thirties watering the flower pots hanged on the windows. I sighed and rushed back home. As just as I returned home, I went to my room and looked in the mirror again, I don't have the courage to walk like this in the street, I can't let anyone see me like this. I am Sophia, the excellent student which get high marks and doesn't take care about how she looks or how to grab boys' attention. This is not me.
My phone beeped and interrupted my thoughts. Someone sent me a message, I think it is Karen. I looked at my phone's screen and my predictions were right. It was Karen.
- Hey Sophia!!!!
- Hey Karen.
- How are you??? :D
- I am great thnx. Thnx for texting.
- Oh I hope you really are. Soooooo...
- Soooo..?
- Are you free tonight?
- Dunno yet, Think I have some study to do.But why??
- What study!!!! it is the first school day not much things to study anyway.
- Yeah I know, but why?
- I wanna take you to a party!!!! 🎉🎉
- What?? .. NO NO NO NO .. I DO NOT attend parties and this is Monday I hear that these parties are held on weekends. 🤔

I have never been to a party before except once and it was a disaster, literally. I didn't know anyone there and some stupid guys started pushing me until I fell on the table and my clothes were all covered in cake and drinks, everyone in the party was laughing at me and no one even helped me get up. Since then I decided to never go to a party again.

She sent that message and interrupted my thoughts and I thank her for that, didn't want to remember that horrifying night.

What .. she saw me .. Ohhh she must saw Harry with me. and then everyone will know and I'll be the hero of the story of the month, the dumb girl with the cool guy.
