I was crying by the end of his song. He has written that song for me. It was amazing, the way he sang it, sitting on the swing, wearing the Christmas pyjamas and they way he was looking at me. The words, every single word and every single letter he meant, he made me cry, no one has ever done that to me, his love for me was overwhelming that I couldn't bear it, I had to cry out of the beauty and pure love that I could see and feel as well. It was just from the heart to the heart. And when he said "Dove" in the song, he always called me his dove, I can't believe that all he had said was true, I am the one who saved that beautiful person!
"Oh My God Harry!" I hugged him.
"You like it?" He asked.
"I love it."
"I thought that you won't like it."
"What? No, you shouldn't think that, I love it."
"Great!"
"When did you write it?"
"I didn't really like it, I just saved it in my mind, you were here all of the time and if I asked you to bring me a paper and a pen, you would ask me for what and so."
"You gotta have a good memory."
"Yes actually!" We sat in a comfortable silence for a while.
"And you? when did you do all that?" He asked.
"I made all that while you were here but you were reading a book or watching T.V."
"How did you bring those here?" He pointed at the swing and the chairs.
"Remember the day when you were at the hospital and came to find Tyler here?"
"Yeah."
"I was on my way back from where the transportation company's truck parked as I told them to park away from the house in case you came early."
"You have thought about every single detail."
"Yeah."
"I love you!" He said.
"I adore you."
That noght was amazing, it was one of the best noghts that I have spent with him if not the best of all.
After the holiday was over school came again and the days were repeating themselves.
Two months later:
I was at school and when I came Harry was sitting on the couch, I left him on his wheelchair before I left.
"How did you dit on the couch?" I asked him as soon as I entered.
"I can stand up alone."
"You are kidding me, right?"
"No, I have been exercising while you were at school for about 2 months."
"This is besides the exercises I help you with?"
"Yeah, Dr. Calder told me that if I made more exercises, I'll be treated sooner."
"Great!"
"Wish I could walk and go out everyday."
"Fine, from now on you will get up earlier than before."
"Why?" He asked. He was confused.
"Because every morning, we will walk to the park."
"Why?"
"You said you wish you could walk to go out everyday."
"Yeah! And how that will help me? I can't walk."
"You will." I said.
We ate and I studied with Harry just as everyday. I left Harry watching T.V and went to his room, opened his laptop and searched about more exercises for Harry. I found that he should walk everyday at least half an hour, it will be really hard for the first few weeks but it will help him improve more quickly.
The next day, I woke up by 5 A.M. I woke Harry up.
"Harry, baby." I said.
"Mmmm."
"You gotta wake up."
"Not now."
"No, now."
"Fine." He said. I went to make breakfast, a large bowl of K cereals as Harry told me that he would like us to eat from the same bowl. I went to the living room and Harry was still sleeping.
"Harry."
"What?"
"Get up."
"Not now mum." I was about to cry when he said mum. What made him say that? He must have been dreaming of her.
"I have prepared the breakfast."
"Okay." I helped him to sit down.
"You gotta wake up."
"Why? Sophia, I want to sleep."
"We are going for a walk."
"What time is it?"
"Five thirty in the morning."
"Are you kidding me?"
"No."
"Let me sleep."
"Please Harry."
"Ugh." He finally sat well.
"Come to the kitchen and eat."
"Help me." He said.
"No, you gotta depend on yourself from now on." I read yesterday on the internet that he should start depending on himself to go wherever he wants using anyway, as long as he can stand up he can do anything and go anywhere.
He was confused but he stood up, it was hard for him a little bit and he had to lean on the couch to balance himself but still, he has improved. I was really happy that he was recovering, he sat on his wheelchair and came to the kitchen. We ate our breakfast and then I gave him his clothes to get dressed until I wear my clothes too. I walked to the park pushing him on his wheelchair and when we reached it, we rested for a little bit.
"C'mon let's walk." I said.
"What?" he asked and he was really confused.
"You heard me let's walk."
"Whatever you say." He understood that I wanted him to start exercising on walking. He held my arms very well and started to stand up, till then there was nothing hard.
"Can you move your legs?" I asked.
"No."
"Just try."
"I am already trying." and he was really trying and I knew that it was really hard for him. He can just straighten them.
"Let me help you." I started moving his legs as if he was walking. I kept on doing that for about an hour but it was hard for him and he told me to stop more than once but I just wanted him to know that it's not impossible as long as he tried. We had to go back home and he was underestimated in an indescribable way. I gotta do something about it.
