CHAPTER 10

"Oh... No I have to go back and do something.." I said while reaching for the handle of the door.
"No you are not,what do you want to do anyway, you look perfect" She said while locking the car doors
"Oh I have to wipe away the make up, put on my glasses and tie up my hair."
"What!!  are you kidding me, you look amazing."
"No one can see me like this."
"No I saw you so everyone else will see you."
    Oh my God this is going to be terrible, I knew it, I shouldn't have accepted to go with her. What will I do now. I can't bear another disaster.
    It took is about 20 minutes to reach the house where the party is held. I have been very nervous all the way to the house that my hands were shaking and Karen told me more than once to stop being tense and tried to comfort me but it didn't do any better. Anyway this is not her fault.
    We reached the house and then I stayed at the car for about 3 minutes staring outside thinking about going back home.
"C'mon Sophia you will be fine."
"I don't feel good about these parties."
"What is wrong with you? Parties aren't that bad? What is about you and these parties."
   I told her what had happened in the only party that I have been to.
"No, don't worry that won't happen today." Karen reassured me.
"Okay." I finally decided to go and make a new start.
   I stepped out of the SUV and I didn't find the loud music that are in all parties.
"Did we come early?"
"No, we are late. why?"
"There is no music and seems that no one is in there."
"No, this is a surprise party so we will all seem as if there is no one in there and when our friend come we will open up the lights and turn on music."
"Okay."
We entered the house and everyone was talking to someone else and greeting and so on. I didn't know anyone just some people who I saw today in my class and I don't even remember their names.
"C'mon c'mon everyone hide and turn off the lights he will be here in 5 minutes." someone said.
Everyone rushed and tried to hide away from the door, that person seems to be popular .. there are many people here.
    I hid with Karen behind the couch which is kind of facing the door.
   Then someone said :"shshshs he is in front of the door" and when he knocked, someone opened the door and then turned on the lights and we all stood up and said Happy Birthday all at once. I stood up and when I saw the Birthday boy, I froze. It was Harry.
