CHAPTER 30

I froze, just stood there trying to understand what just happened. This is the first time mum hit me. She had never done that before even if I argue with her or shout at her, she just shout back or get mad at me and that's it, she had never ever hit me before. I felt sadness and sudden at first and then I felt a rush of anger that hit me which made me want to hit her back as she has no right to hit me, I am grown up now and I deal with my own life, I am not the little Sophia that agreed with every word her mum said when she was young. This is over now.

I left her alone standing amazed as I walked quickly towards the stairs and ran to my room. I closed the door very hard that I felt the floor shaking under me, I locked it and lied on my bed with the headphones in my ears and I didn't realise that I was already crying before then, I don't even know when I started crying.

Suddenly, I looked around myself found that we were in the morning. I must have slept while crying. I heard someone whistling and calling my name from the window, I looked who it was, he was Harry. I felt very happy, this will make it up for me after yesterday. I smiled at him and waved for him to come up here.
"No baby, just get dressed and come here, I'll drive you to school." Did he just call me baby?? Oh my god, this is the best way to start my day.
"Okay." I called back
I got dressed and put my make up on, for the second time in my life time to go out with my make up on but the first time with my own will and on purpose.

I ran quickly down the stairs and then opened the door and found him standing with flowers in his hands amd he was wearing a suit. A suit?? we are just going to school? why is he wearing a suit??
"Why are you wearing a suit, aren't we going to school?"
"We have to go somewhere before going to school."
"Where are we going?"
"It's a surprise."
"I love surprises." and I got very excited
"I know." he said confidently

Harry gave me the flowers, they were tulips, I adore tulips.
"How did you know I love tulips?"
"I didn't know it."
"Did someone tell you?"
"No, I felt it."
He took my hands and then directed me toward the SUV car, the same car in which Karen and I rode while going to Harry's party. We drove for I don't know how long, but it felt like a long time, maybe because I was eager to know where were we going. On our way to that mysterious place, I kept asking him what was the surprise but he refused to tell me. I kinda love mysteries and surprises, I was so eager to know what was going on.

When we arrived, he said
"Here we are." I was going to open the door but he stopped me.
"Wait and close your eyes."
"No.." I said
"Please." He said with a puppy look in his eyes and then he pouted, it was super cute that I couldn't idnore it and had to obey him.
I closed me eyes and was shaking out of eagerness. All I could hear was the sound of door shutting and opening, his car remote ticking. Then he opened my door and took my hands.
"Don't open your eyes." He said
"Okay, but quickly."
"Okay." He took my hands and led me to our destination, it was kinda difficult not to fall. But Harry caught me every time I stumbled.

As I could feel, we where going up a hill or something. It was steep. We walked for a little while.
"Sit baby."
"Okay." I love him saying "baby"
I sat down with his hands still on my eyes. When he pulled his hands away, I found that we were in a high place and there weretrees around is, there was a big lake far away and mostly, there were stars shining up the dark sky, it was already night.
"We drove for the whole day?"
"Yes."
We sat tgere and then he started to say how beautiful I am and how he likes me since the form the day he saw me.
"I like you Sophy."
"I like you too Harry."
"But."
"But what?" I was worried
"I think it is more than that."
"I don't understand."
"I don't just like you." .. "I..I"
"Yeah" I was waiting impatiently
"I love you." He said and then I couldn't believe myself, I didn't think that he may say it that fast.
"I-I am sorry. I know that it was pretty fast, I shouldn't have said that, sorry."
"No, No. It's okay I love you too Harry, I was surprised, I didn't think that you would say it that fast."
He didn't answer me. He seemed sad.
"Harry, believe me I am so in love with you that I didn't even know untill now."
"And how is that?"
"When I first saw you at the school, I felt the deep sadness and grief, when you told me about your mom I knew why you were so sad and some how I felt that I had to push away that sadness and grief, I didn't know why, I thought at first because I just had to. But in the last four days, when you came to me when your dad beat you up and when I thought that you was lying to me about Karen and so but when you told me then that you weren't lying I just believed you and felt terrible for not believing you at first, I didn't know then why, but right now when you told me that you love I just knew that all I felt for you was falling in love with you, I love you so much. I swear."
I was breathing hard after saying that.
We made eye contact and then we started to approach each other and he was just an inch away from me when he said "I adore you Sophia."
"I adore you Harry." O simply replied and then he approached to kiss me and I closed my eyes but suddenly I heard someone shouting my name very loud as if he was just next to me. When I opened my eyes I didn't find Harry and all I could see was mum.
"Harry where are you." No one answered
Mum hit me so hard on my cheek that I couldn't feel my face anymore. Out of nowhere dad came and hit mum so hard on her back that she fell on the floor. I couldn't hear anything. All I saw was mum and dad arguing and dad hitting mum. Suddenly, I saw mum stabbing dad in his heart with a knife.

All I could hear now was my screams and when I wiped my tears and looked at my hands, I found that my hands were small, I was about 10 years old but, I was bleeding blood.
