Chapter o5

I was hanging out in Fantasia and Camille's room. "You two were totally flirting," Fantasia said. I shook my head in disagreement. "We were not. We were just having a normal conversation, like normal teenagers," I said simply. "You normal? Ha! You're so evil!" Camille laughed.

"I'm not that evil," I defended. Fantasia and Camille looked at each other and laughed. "Okay, maybe a bit! But trust me, we were not flirting. Shane is hot but I don't know. And I only talked to him for two hours!"

"It's love at first sight," Camille said dreamily. "Okay, that's bullshit. I don't believe in those. Love at first sight. How pathetic." Camille rolled her eyes at me. "Well, when I saw George, it was love at first sight," Camille said.

"That's you. You believe in that shit," I pointed out. "Trust me, you'll probably end up with Shane or worse, Matthew," Fantasia said. "Matthew? Matthew! Ha! Wow, Fantasia. Who knew you were a jokester!" I said sarcastically.

"No, really. I see the way he looks at you. He likes you!" Fantasia protested. Matthew likes me? Impossible! He hates me for all I know. Back outside when he had that sad expression, he was probably joking with me. Trying to make me feel concern for his sorry ass. Besides he was all over that blonde chick.

Pfft, like that would happen. I would never like that boy! "Yeah, right," I scoffed. "I give up." She groaned. "Good. You better! Never say anything like that again! He's... ugh!" I shuddered. "Okay. Well, give one good comment about him. There has to be something good about him," Camille said.

I thought for a while. He is hot but he attracts the other girls and he uses them! So there's nothing good about him!

"Well, let's see... nope I got nothing," I smiled. Camille narrowed her eyes at me. "At least one compliment! It wouldn't hurt!"

"Yes, it will. It would be painful if I say something good about him. Hell, I wouldn't make it to heaven if I said something good about him!" I'll burn in hell instead if I say something good about him!" I exclaimed.

"Need I say more?" I asked. Camille and Fantasia chuckled. "It wouldn't hurt /that/ bad," Fantasia said. "Have you been to hell?" I asked. She shook her head. "That's what I thought. Sleeping next to him was basically hell," I muttered.

"See what I mean! You are evil! Evil! Get it into your thick, evil head of yours!" Camille shouted while pounding my head with her fists. "Easy! That hurts!" I pouted. "Well, I'm trying to get it into your head!"

I sighed. Maybe I could try being nice to him. It wouldn't hurt...

What the fuck am I saying?! It would hurt! I'm getting softer each time! This is horrible! "I'm going! It's late and I'm tired!" I said as I got up from the bed and headed towards the door. "Tomorrow we are for surely going to ski or snowboard!" Camille called out as I was in the hallway. I just wanted to get out there. Talking about /him/ was giving me a headache, no a migraine.

I started walking towards the direction where the elevators were. I saw Shane walking to the elevator. I caught up with him. "Hey," I said. "Oh hey!" He smiled. "Where are you heading?" He asked. "Oh back to my cabin," I said. "Cabin? You're not staying in here?" He asked curiously. I shook my head no.

"Whom are you staying with?" He asked. "A friend?" I said it as a question. I didn't know what my relationship with Matthew was really. We weren't enemies but we weren't friends. "Cool," Shane said. "Who are you with?" I asked.

"It's just my twin sister and I. She's somewhere with this guy," he said. Could it be that blonde bimbo? No. He did say twin but then again they could be fraternal. It could be any girl with any guy. I'm so stupid at times!
