When I walked into Derek's office, I bowed my head respectfully. He looked up and nodded approvingly. "Vanessa! A pleasure to see you again." "Same to you Alpha."
Derek's face went serious and continued," As you know, our pack is very powerful and wealthy." I nodded.
" Another pack has decided that they want to go against us and declare war for more power."
I was shocked. Other wolves would cower at the thought of going against the famous Silver Twilight Pack.
" As my greatest female fighter of this pack, I trust you to lead the unmated, the males, and advanced females. Of course, Dylan will help you also. You two will make amazing teachers."
He smiled at me and I blushed. "It's an honor Alpha."
"Glad to know that you're on board."
With that, he flashed another smile and dismissed me.
I giddily walked out of the room. How excited I was that my hot Alpha trusted me!
'He doesn't compare to our mate.'
"What do you mean? We never even met. And we didn't accept or claim each other."
'Doesn't matter. He's ours and forever ours.'
Ugh, sometimes I enjoy Sairoise and outer times she really pisses me off.
