Chapter 17

Vanessa's POV




Jack seemed fascinated by the pack house, but especially outdoors. I think he liked the fact that he doesn't have to hide anymore, that he can be on a territory in which he belongs.

He met some pups and they love him. He's great with kids, I can only imagine how much of a loving father he'll be. I haven't even thought of our mating or my heat. I'll imagine that heat would be the worst pain experienced other than shifting for the first time.

Speaking of first times, Jack will be mine. I know what you're thinking, I'm 21 and a virgin. I decided that wanted to wait for my soul mate. I'm glad I did.

I can't imagine giving my all to anyone other than him.



My attention drew back to the children riding on Jack's shoulders. They all laughed and some clung to his legs. I chuckled at their behavior.

Dylan walked out and clapped his hands. "Okay pups! Meet me at the jungle gym in 5!"

Their heads jerked up at the sound of their trainer's voice. They obediently stood up and ran to their little gym. It's so cute! They have a mini track and tire run. It's adorable watching them go through it.

Jack dusted the grass off his pants and made his way towards Dylan and I.

"Well they're definitely filled with energy."

My brother and I laughed.

Dylan said,"Yeah them being hyper helps when they're training."

"Everyone needs to be prepared to fight. We have to be sure that pups need to take care of themselves. Just in case anything happens."

Jack nodded. "That makes sense. I had to learn myself."

"Us too."

Dylan rubbed his hands together."It's time to take care of those rascals."

I turned to Jack. "Are you excited tommorow?"

His smile broadened as replied,"You already know. Everyone seems nice even if they're known to be ferocious."

"They are. We just love each other as brothers and sisters."

"So I'm the new bundle of joy?" He smirked.

I giggled. "If that's what you want to call yourself then sure."
