Chapter 26

Dylan's POV





"Mate."






I found her, we shared a look, and leaned to kiss her.

She kissed back as I asked for entrance. She didn't let me in, ha, let's see how that works out for her.

We fought for dominance and I easily won. After a few minutes, I pulled away and she whimpered. I smirked, our bond was already growing strong.

I looked up and down at her body, there were injuries mostly on her legs.

"What's your name, mate?"

Her eyes met mine. "Sage."


"Beautiful. Dylan."

She grinned, but it quickly faded. "What are we going to do?"

"What do you mean?"

"I have a sister, my age, she's at my pack house."

"What pack?"

"Gold Stone."

"They're a good pack, we're allies."

Her eyes widened. "You're in the Silver Twilight Pack?"

"Yes."

"Will you take my sister in too?"

"If that's what you want."

She smiled and I lifted her bridal style. She couldn't walk, although her wounds were healing. I'd have to have our doctor help her.

I ran fast to my pack, I'll take her to get her sister after she's healed. Vanessa would love her, it's 5:30 though. She might or might not be awake. She probably will since she's used to her schedule.







I walked inside and set Sage on the couch. I mind linked Phil, the doctor, to come downstairs.

He came down quickly and bowed.

"Beta Dylan."

"Phil."

"Who's in need."

I gestured to Sage. "I have found my mate like this. She told me that rogues attacked her."

He smiled and walked over to shake her hand.

"Pleased to meet you Beta Sage."

"Her injuries are on her legs. Can you check them?"

"Of course."

He bent down, inspecting the wounds.

"They've been healing nicely, I'll disinfect and bandage the remaining cuts now and you should be fine in the morning."

Then, Vanessa walked downstairs with Jack's arms around her.

She beamed, for whatever reason, she's always happiest in the morning.

"Good morning! Phil. Dylan."

She paused when she saw Sage, she gasped putting the pieces together.

"Oh my god! You found your mate! Dylan this is awesome!" She ran to hug me tightly, and then hugged Sage.

"My future sister! I've never had one before, this is perfect! You guys look so cute."

My mate blushed at the attention of my sister. Jack shook her hand gave me a bro hug. We're pretty close now.


"Congrats man."

I grinned. "Thanks."

Vanessa was still jumping up and down.

"Do you have a sister?"

Sage nodded. "She's at my pack house."

"Gold Stone?"

"How did you know?"

"I can tell."

"We're all going to be best friends!"

I explained to my mate,"Vanessa grew up around guys and never had a girl her age to hang out with."

Vanessa nodded. "Yup, I was stuck with you."

I stuck my tongue out. "You're lucky to have such an amazing brother."

"You're okay."

I turned to Sage. "Are you comfortable resting here?"

She nodded vigorously. "There's nothing I'd want more."


"We'll get your sister later."
