All Mine

Chapter 43

Vanessa's POV

"Stay strong Vanessa."

His words rang in my ears still, and I tried to obey. Then I felt a sudden pull, and I lifted out of my body. I floated out to the ceiling, and was able to see what was going on below me. I saw Jack, Dylan, Derek, and the doctor. Sage and Ariana sat in a corner, unable to speak.

They were all crying, and then I looked over and saw myself. Jack held my hand tightly, Dylan sat in a chair with his face in his hands, and Derek stood next to Jack. Looking down on me with sorrow.

My heart melted as I saw a baby in the doctor's arms, my son. He was breathtaking, with black hair, and his soft but strong looking brown eyes. He had Jack's nose and my eyes.

I laughed to myself, knowing that he looks a lot more like my brother than anything else.

I looked over at Jack again, he was caressing my face and stroking my hair. I wept myself, I had to get back. They needed me, I had to live.

I felt the familiar pull, and saw the same white flashes, and returned to my body.

Jack's POV

I looked at my mate, peaceful yet causing everyone else pain. I felt more tears run down my cheeks, and whispered to her,"Please come back."

And as if she was listenening, her hand squeezed mine tight. I jerked my head up, and sure enought her big brown eyes sparkled with life and love. She smiled and wiped my tears away.

"You know I wouldn't leave you like that."

I laughed,"Don't ever scare me like that again."

She sat up a little, and wrapped her arms around my neck, and leaned in to kiss me. I met her halfway and sparks flew in every which way.

I swore it was the best kiss we ever shared.

Vanessa's POV

~The next day

I held my son close to me and kissed his forehead. He smiled and gurgled in delight. Jack came behind me and wrapped his arms around my waist. He smiled at our baby, whom we finally decided to name Jace.

Dylan and Sage walked in the living room and smiled. Dylan spoke first,"How's my awesome nephew?"

I walked over and replied,"Great!"

"You know what's weird and totally hilarious?"

I sighed knowing what was coming.

"What?"

"Jace looks like me! And nothing like the both of you! He's gonna be a very handsome wolf when he's older I'll tell you that much."

Sage rolled her eyes and slapped his chest. "If his personality is anything like him, we're definitely in for it."

"I try not to think about it."

Jack spoke up,"Maybe not, but at least we finally have our first born child and the new member to our family and pack!"

Author's Note: Okay so all of you are probably mad at me for not updating, and for the suckish chapter, but there will be an epilogue coming and possibly a sequel. And no way was I going to have Vanessa die!
