Vanessa's POV
I was so nervous! My mate was coming today and I'm happy, but scared for him.
I made Dylan promise that he'll be nice. I doubt that he'll be that good.
I met Jack an hour later at our special spot. It was 3:07.
He was sitting on a giant, flat rock, looking as sexy as ever.
He was wearing a short sleeved black and white shirt, with a few buttons undone. Showing off his chest. His hair was freshly tousled in the way that I loved. His light green eyes sparkled.
He smirked,"Done drooling babe?"
I quickly brought my hand to my mouth. It was dry.
"Was not!"
He leaped off the rock and walked towards me,"I know, just wanted to see you react."
I punched his arm playfully on the arm.
"You may be a jerk to me, but you're my jerk." I possessivly wrapped my arms around his neck and brought my lips to his, wanting to feel the sparks that only Jack could bring.
"Mmm. My mate is feisty, glad to know."
I pulled on his arm. "You ready?"
"Yup."
Dylan's POV
Derek and I waited for Vanessa and this so-called Jack. I definitely wasn't excited, but I was intrigued to know what he's like. My sister speaks so well of him.
I promised that I'd be nice, someday when I meet my mate I guess Vanessa would love to meet her right away. Who knows, maybe I'll like him.
My thoughts were interrupted when I heard deafening scream. Derek and I stood up immediately, we ran to the window only to find wolves fighting.
Oh hell no, not now! I mind linked Vanessa.
'Come here now! The pack we've been expecting is here and attacking!'
'What?! Now?!'
'Yes now, hurry!'
