All Mine

Chapter 39

Vanessa's POV




As I lay in the bed in the little white room, I held Jack's hand firmly. I was in for an appointment to find out the gender of our baby.



I closed my eyes, took a deep breath, and told my doctor,"We're ready."




She smiled warmly at the both of us and picked up a bottle of gel. I braced myself, I heard this stuff was cold.

She squeezed some on my already huge stomach and I winced.

Yup, it was freezing.

"The results are coming in, wait a moment,"she said.

The screen we all looked at was black and white. Then the doctor sighed in happiness.

"Ahhh, there it is."

She pointed at the medium sized figure that was slowly forming legs. A head was clearly shown with arms that slightly moved. A tear rolled down my cheek and looked over at Jack.

This made more to come, his face was priceless. He stared at the screen, eyes watery and then drew back. He wiped his eyes with his sleeve.

"What is it?"

I turned to our doctor, the suspense was killing me.

The smile that was always on her face grew even wider.











"A baby boy."



Jack and I's face broke into full on grins. My tears fell freely and Jack held me hard, laughing softly and kissed my forehead.

He took my face into his hands,"I love you so much, you and him are the best things that have ever happened to me and I couldn't ask for a better family."

I kissed him back and pulled him in for another hug.



Now all I need is a name for my little boy.











Jack's POV




Vanessa and I left the appointment, happy as ever. Especially me. The dream of every father is a son to teach him everything and to talk to.

I'm practically in tears but I don't want Vanessa to see me cry. Believe me, I almost did.

Dylan and Derek will be so happy, another male to help run the pack when he's older.





I thought a little more, when our son is born, it would be such an amazing experience. I couldn't help but think about more pups. Vanessa will be such a good mother.

But I shook my head, I'll focus on our first born before any more kids.

The nursery! I know the gender, so now I can paint the room a shade of blue.



I sighed, my life was so lonely before Vanessa. I had no one to love, to care about, and no family. But she came along and changed all that. She's my other half, my soul mate, my everything.




Now that I'm going to be dad, there's only one other thing to do make Vanessa my official partner for life.











I'm going to marry her.











Author's Note: I know all of you have waited a while for an update, but I have completed my exams and only a few symptoms remain from me being sick. Thank you for those who have asked if I was feeling better, I appreciate it.

Sorry for the short chapter, but it's important and full of feeling.
