Master had a strong connection to me and led me forward through the town that was beginning to go to sleep. I hadn't even thought that it had taken me so long to get away from James and Logan.
Even as master gave me directions to where he was every few moments, it wasn't him that was running through my mind. It was my family and their ties to Jamses' pack. Just who was he to my family and was my family really werewolves? And why didn't I turn into one if I was indeed one of them?
I beat you to the transformation Janine. Werewolves shift when they turn thirteen for males and eighteen for females. I got you just before your eighteenth birthday. Turn right here. I turned right and headed towards a motel that looked a bit rundown for someone like him but quite fancy for a small town like this.
As I walked, I looked at my hands and imagined them as paws. If I would have shifted, what color would my fur be?
The purest white. I blushed wildly at master's words and ascended the stairs where I guessed he would be. White was of purity and power. I had none of that.
Room 18. I knocked just as he told me which door and within moments, Adam opened the wooden barrier. When he saw me, he smiled and pulled me inside.
"I was so worried about you. When I had gotten home and you weren't there, I thought the worst and went after you." The short boy led me over to one of two beds and had me sit down while he got me a soda.
"Then this super creepy but amazingly hot guy appeared and told me to follow him because you were busy." Yeah, if only he knew that his friends were werewolves. I accepted the drink and popped the can open, taking small sips of the carbonated sugar.
"Next time Adam, please do not follow after me if I am not there. You were in danger being out there and you didn't even know it." Something in me froze as the door to the bathroom opened to reveal the man who created me. I set down my drink on the night stand and kneeled down in one fluid movement.
"It has been a while Janine. It is good to see you managed to escape the guard dogs." My head went lower as I felt ashamed that my master had to lift a perfect finger to help me.
"Forgive me master. I was investigating more into the strange protective fields around the upper town and discovered that the target is also part of our world." A low grunt was my only reply as he crossed the room to me and reached to pull my face and body up to his. Now standing, I got a good look at him.
Silver glowing eyes met mine with an intensity that I knew was equally matched by my own and his hair hung in his eyes messily but almost as if each strand was put there purposely. A black dress shirt was tucked into black slacks accompanied by equally dark dress shoes.
Even though he is as pale as me, the look fit him well.
"What race, my Janine?" I shivered at his possessiveness.
"Wolf." He nodded and turned to my human friend who was surprised by my actions. Even though master was not using any of his powers on me at the moment, it was the bond that we shared as master and slave that kept me watching and touching him as much as I could.
"Adam, if you would please go gather her things, she will be staying with me for the next few days." Adam, just as engrossed in master's good looks as I was, nodded and almost tripped over himself on the way out the door to get my things from his place.
"Master, why have you decided to show yourself?" The elder vampire's eyes flew to mine and it was as if someone had shocked me awake.
"I felt like it."
With no more than a grunt, master picked me up, my legs wrapping around his waist. He fell forward onto a bed and connected his lips with my own, a primal dance starting with a demanding flick of our tongues against the other's fangs.
