Chapter 1:

"CORAL!"

I woke up and found Delilah, my best friend, staring right at me.

"WHAT?" I screamed right in her face.

"WAKE UP!" She screamed back.

"What are you doing here? And get off of me." I said as I pushed her off and sat straight in bed.

"It's Saturday, get up!" She said.

"EXACTLY. It is Saturday. Let me sleep." I laid back down before Delilah dragged my legs down and I fell off of my bed.

"Fine" I whined and got up.

"Go get ready, I'll be downstairs if you need me." She walked out of my room, and I went into the bathroom.

I brushed my teeth and took a bath. I wore a pair of baggy ripped jeans with a grey oversized sweatshirt and decided to put my black hair into a bun after many struggles. I unplugged my phone from my charger and went down.

Delilah was talking to my mom.

"Good morning" I sighed and poured some lucky charms, and milk into a bowl.

"Coral, Delilah has been here for the last hour, what took you so long?" My mother asked me.

"Nothing" I was in no mood to talk. You can take anything from me except my sleep.

Delilah and my mom continued to talk, Cory, my extremely annoying brother, was in the living room watching TV, and dad wasn't home. I ate in silence,

and when my breakfast was coming to an end, Delilah came over and asked if I was done."

"Delilah, you still haven't told me what's up" I asked her.

"Yeah, um I was thinking we could go out today. You know go to the mall, go watch a movie, she replied smiling.

"Okayy. Um why though?"

"No reason, are you ready?"

"Yeahh.."

I got up and we both walked out of my house.

"Delilah, we never go out like this, is something going on?" I asked as we started walking."

"Okay look, I met this guy online, and we decided to meet up, so I need you to come with me just in case he's crazy or something."

I stopped right when she said that.

"He's a really nice guy and I swear he's not just some old guy that wants to sleep with me" She began again

"I'm not letting you meet him, Nope, never, you can't just go meet people that you don't know.."

"But I do know him. I know him very well, and we're meeting him at the park."

"Well fine, go meet him if you want, I don't want you to get into any trouble, and I'm not coming."

"Come on Coral. I need you, I can't go without you. Pleaseee, if my parents find out I went alone, I'll get into a lot of trouble, help me out
