1.9. The Day when Duty Calls

Parang huminto ang oras.

"Para kang tanga diyan. Get me a towel."

Hindi pala huminto ang oras.

Ako pa la 'yung nasa state of shock kanina.

I looked at him with my dagger-like stares and creepy smile. Tumayo ako at kinuha ang towel niya. Kung maka-utos! wala man lang please...

The four of them went to the sala and started talking about things. Para ngang pinapagalitan nila si Ivan tungkol sa isang bagay.

Gumawa ako ng refreshments nila at inilagay sa may table. Aalis na sana ako ng nagsalita si Yohan.

"Who are you?" he coldly asked.

Kahit na napaka-cold still he is talking to me! The Yohan Park of Vain. Unang nag-debut ang Vain bilang isang musical band. More like the typical guys with all the instrument. At si Yohan ang kanilang vocalist. He has this amazing voice na pwede sa kahit anong klaseng genre except for rapping. He's a former trainee in one of the most prestigious entertainment company in Korea. Magdedebut na sana siya as an individual artist kaya lang bigla siyang umalis sa Korea at ngayon isa na siyang International Hollywood Artist not to mention Grammy Awardee in Music and Drama. He's also into acting, marami na siyang nagawang movies and series. He has the cold witty charming aura towards the audience na dahilan ng pagki-click ng manonood at ng Vain sa industry. He's the youngest among the group but he's the Image Prodigy. Imagine the kinky chinito eyes of Yohan staring at you...

Wah! Ang sarap ng mahimatay!

"Ivan, is she okay?" narinig kong sinabi naman ni Asher.

Asher Allen has always been the nice guy in the group. The Asher Allen of Vain. The guy who wears the geeky eyeglasses. He's cool and very smart. He studied in Stanford University for two years and realized then that he loves music more than chemistry. He plays the bass guitar and his the group's Rapper-Composer, the guy behind the songs of Vain. Sa kanilang lahat, si Asher ang pinaka-into at passionate sa paggawa ng music. He supports organizations and institutions, encouraging the
everyone to build a better world through music. Narinig ko rin nga na Ambassador of Good will din siya and he had been volunteering himself na tulungan ang mga nangangailangan sa Africa. Not to mention, he had been receiving society awards for all his kindness. He's the Word Prodigy of Vain, literally and figuratively speaking.

And then someone poke me.

I looked at him. "Hey... Are you okay?" he said.

I just nod.

This is Sky. The Sky of Vain. Shane Kyle Evans, the leader. How would I describe him? Hmmm... He has this baby blue eyes, the moment you look at those pair of eyes you could see the sky. I'm looking at the sky right now. :D Anyways, just like the other two, he's a natural prodigy. He entered Julliard School of Arts, performing various musicals and drama plays before Vain. He can do everything, sing, dance and act flawlessly. He has this Boy Next Door aura and he plays the drum. He is the founder of Vain. Creating Vain was just having-fun-with-your-friends for Sky and then there was the spotlight and world tours. "Creating music with my cousin, Asher, doing dance routines with my best friend, Ivan, and being a big brother to Yohan... These things made me the person who I am today. It feels good and I always feel blessed in anyway," this was his quoted answer when he was asked in an interview about his thought about him-having-everything, the success and the fame. The Star Prodigy of Vain. Since then he has been a world-known producer and musical director. Pero sobrang humble pa rin niya. Kaya nga siya ang The Ulitimate Crush of Zu Hernandez! Ahahahahaha..

"You guys, stop scaring her... She's our fan girl, just so you know," Ivan mockingly said.

They looked at me and I looked at Ivan with daggers.
