Riley called and asked if I was coming over and of course I was I always do. I guess she only asked since I have been pretty depressed lately because of what happened to me and Bradley. I thought I finally found someone who loved me as much as i loved them but instead he left......just like my dad.

"Hey weirdos!"
I said as I walked in.

As I was walking towards the table there was an extra plate instead of just one extra plate just for me there was another one. I wonder who it was for.

Maybe shawn's here and they're trying to snap me out of my depression trance or something.

"Hi Maya."
That wasn't shawn's voice

I turned around and saw a tall muscular boy with brown hair in a style that was kinda like farkle's after the Donnie barns incident and he had piercing blue eyes.

This boy was no other than Joshua gaberial Matthews my first love.

"Uh...he...hi josh?"

"Well you've matured a lot you haven't jumped on my back yet. Are you sure your feeling okay?"
He said sarcastically

Little did josh know I had grown a lot I'm not really interested in him anymore maybe because I finally see what it feels like to be with someone who you thought wanted you to.

"Uh...yeah well I don't find you attractive anymore I'm into more of the......"

"Your more into the Bradley type of guy."

I looked at him with a deep state I was hurt that he would even bring his name up I ran to Riley's window to sit on the bay window.

What did I do?

"Josh you idiot her and Bradley don't date anymore he broke up with her to be with missy."

"He did what!"

"Yeah now go fix things now!"

I walked away from Riley and opened her bedroom door and there was Maya her eyes were red you could tell she'd been crying.

"Maya...I'm so sorry I didn't know...I'm an idiot."

"No Josh it's okay...I should be over it by now he left what was I expecting ya know of course he would leave everyone leaves."

I didn't really know what to say so I just stared waiting for her to go on

"My dad left me my mom left me well I mean she's still there she just works all the time, Bradley left me and you left me."

"I didn't leave you Maya...I would never leave you."

"Josh you left me when i was 14 so don't say you didn't leave because you did."

"But I came back almost every holiday and summer and spring break."

"But you didn't really talk to me matter of a fact you rarely even noticed me."

"I did notice you Maya I just...thought it was best if I didn't speak to you considering I wanted you to move on from me."

"Well good job Josh you made me think you didn't care about me and that you hated me!"

"I could never stop caring about you Maya...and I would never hate you ever!......I...I just wanted you to be happy."

"I was happy Josh when you were talking to me and smiling at me and all the other stuff you used to do...with me?"
