Josh's POV
I sat on the couch next to stiles. All I was thinking about was the kiss between Maya and I. Maybe I shouldn't have lied when she asked me did I feel anything towards the kiss. Because I did...of course I did.

"Josh, Maya and Riley would like to speak with you."
Farkle came out with Lucas behind him.

"Um......why?"
I looked at him confused

"All Riley said was that the truth will set you free. Oh and that stiles should come to just in case things get out of hand."
Lucas said

I got up out of my seat and followed Lucas and farkle to Riley's room with stiles right behind me.

"Hello Mr.Matthews please come in sit."
I walked over to her but when I tried to sit next to her she stuck her leg out

"What I mean by sit is sit over there next to Maya."
I squinted my eyes at her and sat next to Maya

"So we are gathered here today  to help Maya and Josh realize that the kiss that they have that they like to call "the truth or dare kiss" meant something to both of them."
She put quotations around the truth or dare kiss.

"The kiss didn't mean anything to me. And it didn't mean anything to you either right Josh?"
She looked at me

Lie. Or truth. Lie or truth.
The truth will set me free but it might break my heart.

I don't care I've had a lot of people break my heart to know that it's only gonna hurt for a while but with Maya this might never go away.

"Josh you should probably say something"
Riley said

"Maya the kiss did mean something to me. Okay? And it hurts to know that you didn't feel anything cause I did. But I guess it's just because I like you."

She stared at me for a while until she stood up.
I kinda guessed she was leaving so I looked back down at my hands

Instead of leaving she pulled me up and grabbed my face. We were just inches away from each other.

"Wha-what are you doing?"

"This."
She leaned in and smashed her lips on to mine and it was just like the truth or dare kiss. But this one had more passion it wasn't forced like the last one

She stopped the kiss and pulled away.

"Why, why did you kiss me?"

"Yeah Maya why'd you kiss him don't break my best friends heart! Like come onn look at him he's in a fragile state right now!"
I looked at stiles who looked at me and Maya then backed up

"Oops......what I meant to say was.........continue."

"I kissed Josh because I wanted to be sure of my feelings for Josh my heart is saying all the things that I like about you and my head is telling me that this......us......it's wrong."
She bit her lip and sat back down.

"Well Maya I think you like him but you don't know Josh that well anymore."
Riley said standing up she stood over by farkle Lucas smackle zay and stiles.

"I want to like Josh i mean look at him he's a ...well he's a boing.........and he's amazing and sweet and you could just get lost in his blue beautiful eyes and his hands are always really soft and his hugs are so warm and he squeezes you just enough- uh sorry but yeah."

All those things she said about me I guess I was smiling really hard and also blushing.

"Aww look he's blushing and smiling."
Stiles said while pointing at me
