Not Over Yet

Maya's Way.

Maya's POV.
Josh has been suspended for this whole week of school. Not once did he leave the guest room. Probably to avoid Cory. I don't think he thinks Cory knows about his expulsion but he does.

I came over to the Matthews house one day. I haven't seen josh in a whole week or talked to him. So I was kinda sad. I missed him a lot.

Today I decided that I had had enough and decided to walk to his room and demand he open the door. Every other time I asked him to open the door he would say he doesn't want to see anyone....because he's disappointed in himself.

"JOSH..."
I said as I banged on the door.

He opened the door he had a towel wrapped around his lower body and his upper body was dripping with water. I covered my eyes. And looked away.
"Wow oh my god wasn't expecting that."
I said.

"Uhh hey love..."
He said

"Can you put some clothes on so I can yell at you please?"
I asked STILL with my eyes covered.

"Yeah hold on.."
He closed the door to change it took at least two minutes before he came back with black basketball shorts and he was putting on a black shirt.

"Now what's up?"

"Really....what's up? I haven't seen you in weeks...you haven't answered any of my calls or text and all I get is...what's up? Who in the-"
Before I could finish my sentence josh pulled me close to him and  pressed his lips against mine.

As he pulled me inside he shut his door picked me up.

At first i wasn't really thinking about anything except that I missed making out with josh. But then I realized what he was doing. He's trying to distract me. I pulled away from him.

"Put me down...now!"
I yelled at him. He put me down quickly and looked at me confused.

"Look Maya I'm really sorry I didn't answer your calls and stuff but I just needed to think"
He says as he looks down at his feet.

"Think about what?"

"Everything...and I've decided that we can't be together anymore"
He said avoiding eye contact with me.

When he said that I was taken off guard. At first I thought he was serious but then I realized he's only saying this because he thinks he's not good enough for me.

"Why is that?"

"Because you deserve better than a guy who just gets into fights and get expelled from schools and has no future whatsoever..."
He said still looking down.

"Well I don't care josh I'm going to fix things because unlike you I believe in you...I believe that you could be something in life."
I said as I grabbed his hand and pulled him back to me.

He wrapped his hands around my waist and stared at me.

"Why do you believe in me?"
He asked

"Because no matter what you think or tell yourself...your a good person. And good things happen to good people"
I said looking back into his scorching blue eyes.

He put his hands on my face and pulled me closer to him.

"I love you..."
He whispered right before he pecked my lips.

I backed away from him. And started to pull him out of his room.
"I know you do."
I said as I raced all the way to the kitchen.

"Joshua is that you, my brotha"
Cory said in a sarcastic tone.

"Look cor um...I kinda sorta got-"
Before he could finish the sentence Cory cut in

"Expelled? Yeah I know..."
Cory said

Josh had a surprised look on his face like he didn't expect Cory to know.

"Well you should be glad to know that your not expelled anymore your suspended and your suspension is up"
Cory said as he patted josh on the shoulders

"H-how did you-when did you?"
Josh stuttered clearly surprised

"Right after I got back from our trip I heard about it and I reasoned with principle Perry....clearly he treated the situation unfairly.."
He said he walked off but not before yelling your welcome.

"Did you have anything to do with this?"

"Me...what...I would never?"
I said sarcastically.

"It'd be an understatement if I told you I love you so fucking much..."
He said.

"Well I expect to be re-payed..."
I said eye balling him.

"Yeah? And how would you like to be re paid?"
He said moving closer to me his hands wrapped around my waist and he lowered his head near my ear.

"I think you know how I would like to be repaid .."
I said whispering as he started to kiss my neck.

"Yeah...I think I know"
He said in between kissing my neck.

"So you'll take me out to get food? It could be our make up date?"
I said with him still kissing my neck.

He suddenly stopped and looked at me with confusion. "Wait what?"he asked as he stepped back from me.

"I mean you did promise me a date in science class remember?" I asked

"Uh....yeah I did didn't I..."

"So pick me up at 8?"

"Yeah of course."
He said.

I kissed him on the cheek and went straight to Riley's room.

Maya's way went amazing.

Short chapter i know but the date chapter is going to be epic just wait on it :)
