Drunk Josh?

Josh's POV.
I walked out of the house and hopped in the car. I didn't really know where I was going I just drove. Until I reached Shawn hunters place. Yup Maya's dad. But he's always been someone I looked up to. I always go to him for girl trouble.

But this time it was different. This girl was his daughter someone he is very fond of very deeply. But I can't hold it in any more I need to talk to him.

I walked up to his door and knocked on the door. Scared to death. I pretty sure I was sweating out my hair.

He opened the door but he didn't smile instead he frowned which meant he knew about what happened between Maya and I.

"I knew I would be seeing you soon."
He said he steps from in front of the door and moves to the side enough so that I could squeeze in.

"Shawn I need to talk to you abou-"
He cut me off mid sentence

"Maya? You want to talk to me about Maya?"
He said obviously knowing the answer.

"Yeah she th-"

"Josh I'm going to ask you this once and only once did you cheat on my daughter? Now remember I used to be you so I know you better than you know yourself."

"I didn't cheat on her okay I was set up. Bra-"

"Josh if you cheated on her tell the truth own up to it."

"But I didn't cheat...."

"Then prove to her that you didn't cheat."

"I can't she thinks that I never loved her..."

He stepped closer to me and put his hands on my shoulders.

"Then prove to her how much you love her. Maya is stubborn and she doesn't trust easily and the fact that I've known you for so long I also know that your stubborn when it comes to someone you love. And I can tell that you love her and I know that even though you don't know what to do now you will. I know you will because I see it in your eyes how much you love her. Now go fix it."
He turned me around and kicked me out the house.

I stood on the porch for awhile until I finally started walking towards my car. There was only one place to go at this point and that was the bar.

I know stiles may have checked my wallet but I always keep my fake ID in my car now.

I drove up to the bar and parked in the back so I wouldn't be able to drive home. I showed him my fake ID and he let me inside.

"Works every time."
I smirked as I walked in and went straight to the bar.

"Beer please. Make it how every much 50$ can get me."
I showed him my ID and he started handing me beer after beer after beer. I finally was drunk. And all I could think about was Maya and what to do about her.

"Hey! Hey beer guy whats your name sir?"
I asked him.

"Jimmy but you can call me Jim."
He said with a laugh he saw that I was drunk and told the other bar tenders not to hand me any drinks.

"Okay Jim what do you get your girlfriend when she's mad."

"Buy her a ring kid. It works every time."
The guy with a long beard and a red hat that said 'I drive trucks' on it.

"Hey! That's a great idea oh yes I'm so gonna get her back."

I ran out the bar and into the street. I turned to the security guard. And asked him to call me a cab since I couldn't find my car. I wonder where I left it.

I waited there spinning around in a circle singing Maya's name

Finally my cab arrived and I hoped in and told the driver to go to the nearest ring store.

We reached a pawn shop which would have to do. I walked in and saw a perfect ring. I grabbed it and ran to the checkout.

"Hey pawn dude I want to but this how much?"

"This ring its 100$"

"Dude what come on it's used I should get it for at least 85$"

"Why?"

"My girlfriend thinks I cheated so I'm trying to prove to her that I l-"
He stopped me mid sentence.

"I understand 85 and you got it."
I handed him 85 and I ran out the store and back into the cab

I gave him the address I'm pretty sure that was the right address.

I ended up two blocks down from the house I got out the car and ran to the house. I finally reached the house and opened the door.

May was sitting there with the tv screen blue and she was crying Riley was trying to comfort her but couldn't stiles saw me come in. And faced palmed his hand.

"HEY! YOU!"
I pointed at Maya

She looked up at me and wiped her eyes.

"Josh are you drunk?"
I walked closer to her and put my finger to her lip.

"Shhhh....let me speak babygirl"
I got down on one knee.

"Josh I already know you-"

"Maya sweetie hush let me talk."
I said once again.

I cleared my throat and held her hand.

"Maya, Penelope....Penelope....Penelope...what was I saying again?"
I looked up at her

"Oh yeah Maya baby I love you with all of my heart I did not cheat on you with that blonde girl at the party she was blonde right? Whatever the point is I was set up....FRAMED I TELL YOU! But anyways Maya will you...will you...marry me?"
I asked Maya's face went from calm to holy shit I'm shook so did Riley's face. Stiles looked like he was going to smack me.

Before anyone could say anything I said something I ended up throwing up.

"Gross."
Riley said in her high pitched baby voice.

"Ewww....did I do that ?"
I said pointing at the puke that just barely missed Maya's feet.

"Ugh come on josh let's go. Tomorrow when your not hung over I'm so gonna cuss you the fuck out."
Stiles said as he tried to help me up.

But I didn't want to go Maya didn't answer my question yet.

"Wait but Maya didn't answer my question yet?"
I said I looked back at Maya who was looking surprised as fuck.

"Uh....yeah josh....I'll marry you
She was hesitant with every word.

"Yay!! Here's the ring."
I slipped the ring on her finger and sat down on the couch. Which eventually turned into me laying down on the couch. Till I passed out.
