Maya's POV
I was shocked when Josh asked me to marry him. But he was drunk he probably won't even won't remember what happened anyways.

I walked into Riley's room. She was sitting on the bay window with her arms crossed.

"Maya Penelope Hart. What the hell?"
Riley asked.

"What he was drunk I didn't want him to get upset I'm going to tell him today okay. He should wake up soon so just wait."

"But Maya you said you would marry him. I get that you watched that tape and found out that he didn't cheat after all those things you said to him and I get that you love him and he asked you to marry you but for one he's drunk for two he won't remember that he asked you yeah he might not remember but what if he does? Then what."

"I DONT KNOW RILEY....I-I don't know I just didn't want to hurt him. I don't know how josh acts when he's drunk."

"Maya did you think that if you said no to Josh that he would hit you? Like your dad did to your mom when he was drunk"
Riley asked grabbing onto my hand

She was right. When I was little my dad would come home mostly every night drunk and angry. And he would hit my mom. I don't know why but I was just afraid that if I said no to Josh he would turn into my dad. And I didn't want that.

"DAMNIT JOSH YOU TOLD ME YOU WOULDN'T DRINK ANYMORE. WHAT THE FUCK MAN I PROMISED YOU THAT I WOULD BE GOOD AND YOU PROMISED ME THAT YOU WOUDLD THROW AWAY YOUR FAKE ID AND STOP DRINKING!"
Riley and I heard stiles yelling at Josh for getting drunk.

Stiles was pretty upset when he saw that Josh was drunk.

Riley got up and walked outside I followed behind her to see Josh sitting on his bed with his hands on his head. Stiles was still yelling at him

"Ugh josh what the hell is the matter with you? Yes I get it you love Maya but what if you would have drove your car home what if the cops would have found out that you were there YOU known how much trouble you'd get into.? You already have a reputation with the cops. We both do which is exactly why we came here. To do BETTER."
Stiles said

"I know stiles I'm sorry I-I didn't know what else to do....at least I wasn't getting high somewhere in an alley with suspicion people."
Josh said. Looking up at stiles.

"Give me the ID Josh."
Stiles held out his hand and Waited for Josh to hand him the ID but he didn't.

"No."

"GIVE ME THE ID! JOSH IM TRYING TO LOOK OUT FOR YOU."

"I DON'T NEED YOU TO LOOK OUT FOR ME!"

Stiles must have got angry cause he grabbed Josh's collar and pulled him up so he was eye to eye with stiles.

"Give me.  The. ID. Now JOSHUA."

"I can't do that stiles."

"Josh you went to rehab for your drinking problem. Do you want to go back there."
Stiles said.

"No..."

"So give me the ID let me get rid of it."

"No."

"Damnit Josh. Why the fuck not."

"Cause what's the point anymore. I came down here to be a better guy and ever since I've gotten here I'm either arguing or fighting someone. Let's face it stiles I'm never going to change."

"Josh you are a better guy...ever since you've gotten here you've fought over a girl that your madly in love with just to protect her honor. And the biggest thing is that you opened your heart to love someone. Josh if we were still in Philadelphia you would still be the same josh from before. This josh that I'm speaking to now he's changed. I promise you josh you are not the same guy that you were back then. Your better...your the good guy now. Your no longer the guy that fights for no reason pranks all of his teachers is always getting in trouble and skipping class and smoking  and drinking. Your not the guy who got expelled from school."
