My relationship with Camila only grew stronger in the next few months.

Exams stressed us a lot and Gabe was a huge distraction, we made a habit of meeting with Normani to study and leaving the boy with Dinah, who never complained.

Contrary to all expectations Normani and Dinah held it together well, and if not for a couple of fights due to jealousy, things seemed to get serious for them too.

"What is it this time?" Camila asked the girl in a slightly annoyed tone.

"What? What did she say?" Normani's worried expression was kind of funny.

"She was pissed when I dropped Gabe, and it's not me this time" Camila said raising her hands, referring to the time when she accidentally fell asleep snuggled to Normani a couple of weeks before.

I was out with Gabe and Dinah to let the two of them study and they both fell asleep before we had a chance to come back, they actually looked cute, but Dinah didn't see it that way.

"How pissed?" Normani seemed nervous.

"Like she had different levels of being pissed..." Camila pointed out.

Normani sighed and passed a hand over her face.

"So? What did you do?" Camila insisted.

"If it's about the party Dinah needs to loosen the leash a little" I thought out loud.

"What party?" Camila's head whipped in my direction.

Normani looked at the exchange between us, not daring to say a word.

"Some girls threw a party yesterday and Mani went."

Camila seemed confused "...and how do you know that?"

"I'm invited to almost every party that's thrown Camz, I just never attend."

She opened her mouth to say something and closed it quickly right after and just sighed.

She then looked at Normani, "So is it about the party?"

"I guess, at this point" the girl looked down.

"Who did you go with?" Camila asked cautiously.

"I went by myself. It may be the fact that I didn't text her back after a certain time."

She seemed a little ashamed, but there wasn't a real reason to be in my opinion.

"Dinah's exaggerating" I said.

"Why didn't you text her back?" Camila ignored me.

"I got drunk and crashed there, I fell asleep and forgot to answer."

Camila sighed and picked her book back without adding a word. It was unfair, she was too close to Dinah to be partial.

"It's not bad Mani," I tried to reassure her, "you can still go to parties and have fun, as long as you didn't do anything wrong..." Mani shook her head quickly to confirm her good behavior.

Camila kept her eyes on the book and I was annoyed at the fact that she was acting so childishly.

"Camz, you're being unfair to Mani, Dinah can be irrational and all, but you need to stay unbiased."

She shrugged and got up to fill a glass with water that she quickly drank in big gulps.

"Camila come on, how old are you?" she shrugged again but with a little grin this time.

"Twenty, two weeks ago..." I smiled too thinking of her birthday, the night before of it, with Gabe too, we went out to dinner at the place she took me for our first date.
