Trapped. That's what we are. Trapped inside of a classroom that could only fit about thirty students and a teacher. Our class only had twenty nine students, but why would that matter since we're all about to die. I sat in a corner crying silently with Larry sitting next to me humming quietly. It sounded kind of familiar. I wish my boyfriend Brandon was here... Most of the students huddled together while others were questioning the teacher. Cathy sat next to me and Larry. I looked up to see Emma and Gaby talking quietly and away from everyone. They would nod their heads every now and then but would start talking again. They did their signature handshake and then walked over to me, Larry, and Cathy.

"We're getting out of here. Those things are already everywhere and if we wait any longer we will get trapped for real." Gaby spoke calmly. Larry nodded and stood up. Cathy looked to me then stood up. Gaby stared down at me menacingly. She kneeled down to my eye level and spoke softly. "Bobo, you know it's not safe to stay here right?" I was silent but then spoke up. "I'll just slow everyone down besides I don't have what it takes to survive." Gaby suddenly grabbed my shoulders and forced me to look at her. "You won't slow us down, you're our friend we wouldn't just abandon you. And what are you talking about not having what it takes? You have been planning for the apocalypse for years. I think we should put those theories to the test." Gaby finished. She smiled at me. I was overwhelmed with the feeling of being wanted. More tears poured out as I hugged Gaby. She hugged back, she never hugs back. "I'm sorry but I'm not leaving without Brandon." I said. Gaby clicked her tongue and spoke. "We can look for him but if he's not in any of the other classes then we're leaving." Gaby said as she let go of me. I nodded and stood up.

I watched as Gaby walked over to her backpack and pull out something long and silver. She then walked over to the teacher's desk and grabbed a sharp looking pair if scissors. She walked back up to is and told me and Cathy to stay in the classroom for now. I nodded and sat back down. Cathy sat down next to me. She walked up to Larry and gave him the scissors. She then walked up to Emma and pulled out a pocket knife from her, well, pocket and handed it to Emma. Gaby had already spoke to the teacher about this so she was busy with the other students. Emma pulled open the drapes to the window while Gaby opened the window and climbed out. A lot of those things had gathered in the court. Larry jumped out the window too and Emma followed. Larry closed the window and of they ran. Cathy got up and closed the drapes. I looked at the other students and sighed. God, what is going on?

Archer's P.O.V.

I gripped the pair of scissors in my hand securely. We ran up to our first period class since it was the closest. Gaby pulled open the window only to be met with a barricade. She sighed and pulled out her phone that I didn't see she had. "What was his email again?" Gaby asked. Emma answered quickly as Gaby furiously typed. I closed the window since it was no use. We heard a silent ding from in the classroom and then scurrying. Whispers were passed through the class as the door was opened slightly. Emma grabbed the handle and opened the door. We all rushed into the class. No Brandon. Gaby spoke to the class about escaping but they declined the offer. Gaby nodded and out we went into the court again. Emma went out first to be face to face with a zombie. I panicked and tried to grab her. Gaby beat me by grabbing the collar of her shirt and yanking her back. She then plunged something into the chin and up into its skull. Gaby pulled out her weapon to reveal a very sharp looking machete. I mouthed the words 'holy crap!' We left the class after that.

Next was our second period class since it's right there. Before we could reach it we saw a large man child fighting of a monster that was trying to bite him. I rushed up and stabbed the scissors into its head. I went limp and fell to the ground. The guy looked at me and, speak of the devil, it was Brandon. Gaby grabbed him by the collar and dragged him back to our class. Emma and I followed.

Cathy would look out the window every so often to check if they were back. It has been awhile since they left. Cathy pulled open the drapes and opened the window. Shortly after my boyfriend was thrown into the room with Gaby climbing in after, then Emma, then Larry. Cathy closed the window and drapes. "Brandon!" I rushed over to him too excited and relieved to care. I hugged him and he hugged back. "Thank god you're okay!" He spoke in a relieved voice. I snuggled into him taking in his scent. Emma cleared her throat and motioned to Gaby. She was sitting on the teacher's desk, tapping it to get the classes attention. When everyone was looking at her she spoke lowly. "As you all know it's the apocalypse and there are monsters outside..." "Don't you mean zombies?" Someone asked. "What's a zombie? Anyways, we obviously can't stay here so I'm asking if any of you are willing to escape with me." Gaby continued but was interrupted by another student, "Who put you in charge?" Gaby's right eye twitched. "Well then you got a better idea smarta**." Emma spoke up. "I didn't think so. If anyone wants to join please stand next to Emma." Gaby finished. Only a few students walked up to Emma. Actually only three. The students were Jennifer, Malisson, and Jorge. Gaby nodded and hopped off the desk. The teacher then took control of the other students. Gaby walked up to the group and motioned for me, Brandon, Cathy, and Larry to join. "Okay so as we all know there are those things everywhere. We have to call them something." Gaby spoke. "How about creepy crawlies?" Jennifer suggested. "No, that reminds me of insects." Cathy said. "Well you said no zombies." Emma said. "Hey! I have my reasons... Also, no walkers, we ain't no walking dead." Gaby countered as everyone groaned. "What about the 'raised'?" Larry questioned. Gaby's face lit up as she squealed and clapped her hands. "I'm guessing that's a yes?" Cathy wondered out loud. Gaby just nodded enthusiastically.
