Ringleader's P.O.V.
I woke up to a dull pain in my ankle. I whimper softly and lightly brush against my wound with trembling fingertips. It stings. If I don't do anything about it it might get infected. I whimper again as I feel around. It burns but I need to know how deep it is. I spread the flesh a little and wedge my finger in. It burns. I keep going deeper until I touch a solid. Bone. Man, I really did a number on myself. I wince as I rip my finger out. Fresh blood trickles out. I grab a piece of my shirt and proceed to rip it off. After I got a good sized strip, I lift my leg and place it under the wound. I then wrap it around and tie it into a bow. Blood already soaks into the fabric. I laugh dryly as my stomach growls. My eyes become heavy as the dull pain slowly decreases, then rises, then decreases, then rises. I eventually drift off into a dreamless sleep.
                              Samurai's P.O.V.
It's been a few days since the hunt for Gaby was called off. However, I don't give up quite as easily. I search everyday. High and low. Far and wide. And yet, there's still no sign of her. I've thought of giving up. But then the thought of Gaby being hurt or worse always convinces me to keep trying. It's dark out but that doesn't stop me from going out into danger to search. Back at base there are makeshift torches to light the way. We also have a sound alarm. A thin wire that connects to a series of bells and chimes. It's been triggered five times already. Anyways, they also have piles of wood in different thickness and lengths. We hope to make a treehouse or something. Personally I would like a room or entire house to me and Larry, but for know I can't complain. I continue to wonder in complete silence. I hear a faint whimper in the distance, but before I can even think of going towards it, a light shines on me. A torch light. I've been caught, again. They haul me back to camp and force me to go to sleep. By force I mean they literally watched me until I passed out from sleep deprivation. Well, I'm getting closer.

That was close. I heard footsteps in the darkness of my slumber. I thought that they were just my weird imagination, but it wasn't. They were real footsteps. I quickly realize the situation and try to run. But instead, a burning pain shoots though my leg. Oh, right, I forgot about that. I whimper pathetically, alerting whoever was out there, great job. Luckily I was saved by more strangers. They grabbed the noisemaker and took them away. Once far away, I sigh and decide it best to keep moving forward.
