Ringleader's P.O.V.
We used the houses to our advantage but our luck had to run out eventually. Once the line of houses was gone we had to continue on foot. I was the first to hop off of the building. When I jumped down I landed on two raised, successfully putting them to sleep. As soon as my feet came into impact with their heads, I uttered these wise words, "You can't stop this dream bout!" I didn't pay attention to the order of who jumped off the building. All I know was that Cathy and Sam-Sam were last to jump off. We thought it would be a good idea to check one final store before left the town for good. We walked a little ways until we reached Costco. We managed to find some leftover food in the back. Once we got what we needed we were in the road again.
We walked into the countryside so that we would be able to see the raised coming from a mile away. Emma was still pretty silent but she was slowly returning to life. We'll be patient. Bobo had taken the situation surprisingly well. I probably would have jumped off the roof after him if I were her! Well anyways we found an orchard and the sun was setting. No one had to speak for we were all thinking the same thing. We're sleeping in trees tonight. I struggled a bit climbing into my tree since I had never done something like that in my life. Thankfully Emma helped me out. The night was cold so we all slept with a partner. Emma was with Larry, for some reason... Cathy was Bobo, girls. And I was with my one and only Sam-Sam! I'm not weird for sleeping with my dog. He was warm AF! Anyways, I couldn't sleep so I guess I was on watch. A few raised would walk right under us without noticing our presence. "You can't sleep either?" I heard a voice whisper. Well, turns out I'm not the only one who couldn't sleep. The owner of the voice was Bobo. She was in the tree right next to mine so it was easy to hear her. "Yeah, today was a rough day. I guess I'm just crazy for not wanting to instantly pass out from the events that unraveled today. " I spoke quietly so that the raised couldn't hear our conversation. "I know. I still can't believe that my brother is gone though. It feels so surreal. " Bobo spoke almost inaudibly. I nod and end up falling asleep after a few minutes. The dream was normal for me I guess.
It started off with me floating in nothingness. Everything was black. There were no walls, no roof, and no floor. Just empty space. Then a flash of light. Color poured in from every angle. It hurt since all the colors were too bright. Once it was done adjusting I saw a small room. There was a fairly large bed wedged into a corner and there was a wardrobe with a tv sitting proudly atop it. There was a closet near the door. I soon recognized this room to be my sister's room. It looked like a hurricane blow through there. And then a tsunami terrorized it. Then finally an earthquake that resembled the earth being torn apart shook the room. Then I saw my sister. She was sitting on the bed. Crying. Her knees were pulled up the her chest and she rested her her on her legs. Her arms were wrapped around her to block the field of view on her face. Then there was banging on the door. She gasped as her head shot up. She looked terrible. Her hair was a mess, she had dark circles under her eyes, which were red and puffy from crying. There were marks in her face from were her tears streamed down. She snuggled and swung her legs off her bed. She silently got up and began to move her wardrobe towards the door. But she wasn't fast enough. A small hole was create through the door from the other side. She stopped her actions and backed away from the door slowly. She then hurriedly rushed into the closet. She closed the sliding door as soon as her bedroom door was kicked down. A large staticky figure burst into the room. I couldn't see how they looked. It just had the shape of a buff man with the sight of static from a tv. When it spoke only static noises came out. It easily found my sister. When it did he grabbed her by the hair and dragged her out if the closet. She was screaming and begging for it to let her go. It ignored her pleas. My sister was clawing at the hand that gripped her hair. She continued to scream and cry as it dragged her out the room. Unfortunately I couldn't see anything that was outside the room. I have up in trying to see. Once I gave my eyes opened up in the real world.
It was still dark out and everyone was asleep now. I bet Bobo passed out while talking to me. I chuckled at the thought of her just forgetting what she was saying and then just randomly passing out. I would expect as much, especially after she lost the only family by blood she had left. But technically we're her family. I'm the mother and they are all my children. I care about them a lot. They mean the world to me. Especially now that I don't have any of my blood family anymore either. That was the worst and most traumatizing thing I had ever seen in my entire life. I lied when I said I found them dead. No, I 'watched' them die. I didn't even move a muscle. They had a chance to live if I had helped, but I just stood there, menacingly. I made no move to help them. I just watched. Oh god. What was I thinking?!
