Gerard held Frank close to him. "I love you, my little baby."

  "I love you too, Pancake."

"You are so pretty. Your eyes are the prettiest shade of brown right now. Your smile is so gorgeous." He pinched his rosy cheek, admiring all his features.

Frank kissed his cheek, getting butterflies in his stomach. Gerard always made him feel safe.

"Knock, knock. Anyone home?" came a voice from outside the door. That voice, belonging to Zen.

Frank scooted off his lap. "Come in."

"Gerard, you have a visitor. He says his name is Mikey Way. He claims to be your brother."

"Really?" Gerard was a bit skeptical. Mikey fucking Way? The brother he hadn't seen in three years.

"Yes."

"Okay then. Um, Frank, come with me?"

Frank agreed. Gerard pulled on his navy blue Vans and Frank put on his black, high top converse. They followed Zen out the door and went down the hallway. Gerard hadn't seen Mikey in a long time. People change appearance and personalities over a period of time. Last time he'd seen him, he had tear streaks on his acne ridden face. He was quiet, awkward, and constantly embarrassing himself. The awkward teenager years. Gerard was hoping he'd grown out of it.

There was a long window, and on the other side was a room where  Mikey Way sat, face down. Zen pulled the door opened and let the two through. He left.

Mikey looked up. A huge, wonderful smile appeared on his face. "Gerard!"

  "Mikey!"

Mikey stood up and hugged his older brother. Gerard hugged him back. The feeling of seeing the person who was always there for you and encouraging you was a wonderful feeling. But when Mikey made contact with him, his happiness was beyond words. He buried his head in the crook of his neck. He was with his big brother again.

Frank stood off to the side, not knowing what to do. He played with the sleeves of his shirt, watching the reunited brothers.

They let go of each other. "I've missed you so much," Mikey smiled, his faint dimples showing.

"I've missed you too. You got taller! And wow, you haven't changed that much!"

"The acne went away," he laughed. And my face thinned out."

"You still have your lanky arms and legs though. And those dorky glasses."

"Your hair looks dry, wow. Never seen that before, you greasy ass motherfucker." Mikey pulled him back into a hug. "And your eyes aren't dull anymore. Also, your skin looks more healthy," he whispered.

Gerard pulled away, taking Frank's hand. "This is my boyfriend, Frank."

  "Hi," Frank greeted.

  "Hey!"

"Frankie, pull a seat over here."

Frank moved a seat from the side of the table Mikey was sitting at to the other side. He pulled it next to Gerard's. They all sat down.

  "How've you been?" asked Gerard.

"Well. You?" It was clear Mikey was trying to hide the excitement in his words.

"I've been doing good. How are Mom and Dad?"

  "The same they've always been."

"Surprising," Gerard mumbled sarcastically. "How about school?"
