Chapter fourteen

I jumped out of the shower and ran to my room and Zoe quickly took my spot in the bathroom. She already picked out her clothes but I haven't. It's Friday and we got out of school an hour ago and now it's 4pm. We have to meet the guys at SUMOs at 7. I run to my closet I pull out my black semi lace/ see through Victoria secret cheeky undies and bra, I then grabbed a pair of black high waisted skinny jeans and a cute ash pink long sleeved crop top. I put on my gold necklace that had a heart on it and a gold bracelet my grandmother gave me before she passed away. It wasn't real gold but when she seen it she said it was so cute and she thought it would look good on me. She gave it to me with real diamond earrings, and it's not the cost that matters it's the love she put into it. I smile and grab my black leather purse from my closet and throw my phone, charger, wallet, and my emergency makeup into it. I decide to wear my ash pink TOMS since we were going to the park after. After I was done I dried my hair and straightened it. I did my makeup and I used my MATTE brown eyeshadow kit, winged eyeliner, dusty rose MATTE lipstick, and I just used my brown blush to lightly contour my face and then put my champaign pink blush lightly on my cheeks. I lightly filled in my eyebrows and combed them so they looked good. When I was done it was 6:25 and Zoe walked out dressed and ready. She also had black high waisted pants on like mine, but hers had cute little silver chains on the front and back pockets. She had a pastel blue crop top on, hers was dress like, I don't know what it's called but it was cute. She had a my silver necklace on, and her silver charm bracelet that she got from her dad for her birthday. She was also wearing her pastel blue flats. She had her makeup similar to mine but her eyeshadow was shimmer and it made her hazel eyes really stand out. She had the same lipstick I had on, and her hair was in loose curls. "Hello pretty lady." I said smacking her but and she jumped. "Why thank you, you look pretty great yourself hot stuff." She said and we both burst out laughing. "Hey we better get going or we are gonna be late." I said and she followed me to my car. I seen that Colby was already gone, he probably got ready at Sam's house. I texted him and told him we are in our way. "I'm nervous." Zoe said fiddling with her phone. "Oh don't be, I'm sure you will like whoever Colby brings." I said and I couldn't help but smirk. We got to SUMOs and Colby had texted me that he was already seated and told the front desk he was expecting us. I put my phone in my purse and pulled it onto my shoulder before me and Zoe walked in. "Welcome to SUMOs how may I help you." The man behind the desk said eyeing me and Zoe up and down. I cleared my throat and he looked back up at my face. "We are here with Colby Brock." I said and he looked down at his notebook and back up at me. "Oh yes ma'am right this way." We followed him to the back and I seen Sam and Colby. Colby was wearing black skinny jeans and a white button up shirt, he had the sleeves rolled up to his elbow and he wasn't wearing a beanie or anything. He looked really hot if I'm being completely honest. Sam was wearing dressy blue jeans and a peach colored button up with the sleeves like Colby, he looked very handsome. I looked over at Zoe and she looked at me shocked, but quickly smiled over to Sam. We were seated in a booth and I slid in next to Colby and Zoe sat next to Sam. "Hey Babe you look good tonight." I said giving him a quick peck on the lips. "Well princess I could say the same to you." He said smirking and he ran his index finger from my knee up my thigh and he grabbed my hand and kissed it. I looked up and seen Zoe and Sam talking and laughing so I decided not to interrupt. The waitress came and took our order, Colby ordered for me and him. I smiled when he remembered my favorite thing. "So I heard you guys wanted to travel after high school." Colby said while he placed his hand on my knee he slid it up until it was close to my inner thigh. "What are you guys wanting to do?" I take a breath when he starts rubbing circles on my inner thigh with his thumb. "Well I am wanting to go to California to attend school, and Tessa is wanting to come along and travel and figure out what she wants to do with her future." I nod in agreement and her and Sam start talking about how beautiful LA is. I try to ignore how Colby's hand has slid higher on my leg, but when I take a bite of my rice he begins rubbing circles again. I have to control my breathing and I take my hand and move his head close to mine so I can whisper to him. "Colby you are kinda causing some problems in my lady area due to your little circle rubbing thumb." I said and he smirked pulling his hands away surrendering. When we finish eating we all walk outside by the cars. "Hey Zoe can you drive my car and Sam ride with you to the park? I really need to talk to Colby." She agreed and Sam got in my car with her. They backed out and I got into Colby's car. "That wasn't very nice of you." I said bringing my face close to his. He smirked at me and pulled me in for a kiss. He tried to deepen the kiss and I pulled back and started kissing his sweet spot on his neck. He let a small moan escape his lips and I pulled away. "Hey I wasn't done." He wined to me. I laughed and buckled up. "Text Sam and tell him to make his move. And then we need to go to the park. I said and he had his mouth dropped open but obeyed. I kissed his cheek and we pulled off towards the park. Colby drove kinda slow so that Sam would have time, when we finally got there we parked by my car and started walking up but stopped when we seen two people kissing on the bench. "Wow fast workers." I say pointing to Sam and Zoe. Colby smiles down at me and gives me a kiss. Eventually they notice us and pull away. We all walk around the park and Colby pushed me on the swing and we just all played around until about 10pm.
"Hey guys it's getting kinda late and my dad said I need to be home by 10:30 Zoe said and we all nodded. I got in my car with Zoe and Colby Kissed me before I closed my door and I drove off.
"So details about Sam?" I asked and she smiled and started blushing. "He asked me to be his girlfriend, and I said yes." I stopped at the stop sign. "WHAT? That's so great Zoe I'm happy for you." I said and gave her a small hug before continuing to drive. She thanked me and it was quite for a second. "Do you think it's bad to have like.... Thoughts... Like sexual thoughts so early in a relationship? Especially since what happened between me and Chance?" I asked and she looked at me kinda confused. "Well ever since Wednesday things that usually don't mean anything to me like just kissing or at the restaurant Colby had his hand on my leg and it's kinda turning me on. I feel like I'm not supposed to feel like that." I said and she told me to pull over. "Tessa you went through something terrible, but it wasn't your fault. Don't punish yourself for having feelings towards Colby. I'm not saying rush into anything but don't feel bad for being human. Have you told Colby what happened with Chance?" I shook my head no, "I think you should tell him next time your alone, that way he knows why you are trying not to rush it. Let him know that you trust him and that even if your not showing how much you wanna jump all over him, that your still letting your mind get over it. Cause trust me honey it's still in there somewhere waiting to be triggered." I nodded and hugged her before driving the rest of the way to her house. The drive to my house wasn't to much further and when I got home I cleaned my face and put a big T-shirt on over my undergarments and decided against shorts. Soon I heard my door open. "Honey Colby is here." My mom said letting him in. Is it bad I forgot he was staying the night? I got up and locked the door after she left and later back down next to the now shirtless Colby. "Sam and Zoe are dating now!" Me and Colby said at the same time causing us both to bust out laughing. It got quite and Colby pulled me close to him. "Hey Tessa I have a question. I mean Alex told me not to ask but I want to. I'm not pressuring you to answer though." He said and I looked up at him and nodded for him to continue. "Well Alex said that you went through something bad in your last relationship that was pretty serious. I was wondering what it was." I looked at him and a small tear escaped my eye, and he looked at me worried. "I'm kinda glad you brought it up, I was wanting to tell you." I said and prepared myself. I haven't talked about it in awhile. I thought it wouldn't bother me anymore but it does. "Well first off did you know who I dated?" I asked and he shook his head no. "Well do you remember Chance Evans? He was a senior last year." I said and he nodded remembering him. "Well the summer before my 10th grade year, I met Chance. He was doing summer practice for football and I was doing summer Cheer practice. He started talking to me after practice and we hit it off pretty great. We were like the perfect couple for the first year." I wiped another tear and he grabbed my hand. Well he started drinking and doing drugs. He had also started hitting me, we had been fighting because I told him I wanted to wait to loose my virginity until I knew it was special. Well one night when he got home from a party he told me to come over, that he had a surprise for me. This was around the middle of last year, you remember when I missed a week of school?" I asked and he once again nodded. "Well I got to his house and when I got there he pulled me in and pushed me down onto the floor. He then tied my hands behind my back and began to scream and ask me why I wouldn't give him my virginity. He also kicked me in my stomach a few times. Someone knocked on his door so I thought I was gonna be safe but it was a couple of his drug head friends. When they came back to me they all took turns...." I choked as I began to sob. Colby pulled me in and hugged me. "I told them to stop but they didn't, and when I tried telling the cops Chance had left and they couldn't find him." I cried into his chest. After almost an hour I had finally stopped crying and looked up at Colby and smiled. He raised his eyebrow in confusion. "Thank you for listening, it really helped." I said and he gave me a small kiss. "Tessa I am always here, you can tell me anything and you can trust me with all your secrets. I wanna thank you for trusting me enough to confide in me." He said and I crawled onto his lap and began kissing him I let it go on for about 5 minutes before finally pulling away and I bit my lip and rested my forehead on his. "I don't know what it is about you but you are the only guy that doesn't scare me when it comes to this. I know I wanna wait a little longer so it's special but I want you to know that I'm not waiting because I'm afraid of you. I know you would never hurt me like Chance did." I said and he gave me a small but passionate kiss. "I promise I will never hurt you." Colby said before laying down and I laid my head on his bare chest. He ran his fingers through my hair soothing me until I finally fell asleep.
