Chapter twenty one

(Colby's POV)

I've been up since 4:30am getting things ready for today. Now that I have all the plans ready I went upstairs to find my outfit for today. When I walked into the room I seen that Tessa was in the bathroom straightening her hair. She seen me in the mirror and smiled at me, I smiled back and went over to the closet. We are going to Fran's Diner for breakfast. Zoe told me it was Tessa's favorite. I put on a pair of black skinny jeans and a red flannel over my white t-shirt, I added my black vans and a black beanie. Me and Tessa are matching today. She thinks I just wanna be cute but I am getting some couple pictures taken of us today. She was wearing her black high waisted black skinny jeans, a white crop top, her red flannel tied around her waist, her black vans that were made to be like wedges, and she was wearing one of my black beanies. Her dark brown hair was perfectly straight and she had light natural makeup that accented her natural beauty perfectly. I looked in the bathroom and she finished by putting on her signature perfume that I liked a lot. It was from Victoria's Secret and it smelled kinda like fruit. I don't know, I just know I like it. I walked into the bathroom and we both brushed our teeth. "Good morning princess." I said after we were both done. "Good morning" she said smiling up at me. I leaned down and kissed her forehead. "Are you ready to go?" I asked and she nodded grabbing her purse off the bed and we walked out to my car. I really hope she likes what I have planned.

(Tessa's POV)

Colby opened the door for me and after I got in he closed it. While he was walking around to his side I took my phone out and sent a group text to Zoe and Sam.

(Text convo)
Me: Hey guys we are leaving for breakfast now. I left the back door unlocked for y'all.
Sam: I'm on my way to Zoe's house now.
Zoe: I have everything ready for when you get here Sam.
Sam: alright baby see you in a minute.
Me: Thanks for the help guys.
Sam: you're welcome
Zoe: No problem Tess

I put my phone down and smiled up at Colby as he started to back out. When he put it back in drive and took off he grabbed my hand, "I hope you have fun today." He said squeezing my hand lightly and bringing it up and kissing it. "I know I will, I'm with you." I said and he leaned over and gave me a quick kiss and then went back to driving. We drove for about twenty minutes before we pulled up to the restaurant. "Awe I haven't been here in forever." I said with a huge smile on my face. Fran's Diner is my favorite. My parents used to take me for breakfast when They wanted to celebrate something. "Zoe told me it was your favorite." Colby said as we stepped out of the car. He came over to my side and his arm found its way around my waist. I turned my face towards him and he took the hint and kissed me. When we pulled apart and he had a cute smile on his face. "Hello welcome to Fran's is this for here or to go?" I looked up to see a really pretty blonde behind the desk. "For here." Colby said with a smile, he looked at me and I guess I had a insecure look on my face because he leaned down and gave me a small kiss on my cheek. "You guys are so cute together." We looked up at the blonde and she smiled sheepishly. "Sorry I have this problem with saying what's on my mind before actually thinking about if I should say it or not." I smiled as she took a deep breath after talking. "It's fine, and thank you." I said and she smiled back to me and walked us to a table with two chairs. We got our menus and she left to get the drinks we ordered. I decided on the omelet and turkey bacon. I also got a small side of white gravy. Colby got the same but with real bacon. Our food finally came out and we started eating. "I didn't get the chance to ask but how did it go with Alex yesterday." Colby asked before taking another bite. I smiled at the point that he cares enough to ask. "It went really good, he apologized and I apologized for overreacting." Colby nodded. "I don't think you overreacted though. It just shows how much you value the friendship." Colby was right, that makes me feel a lot better about the situation. "You know I didn't think of it like that." Colby reached across the table and grabbed the hand I wasn't using, he rubbed his thumbs across the top of my hand. "Hi sorry to bother you, I know you from YouTube I was wondering if I could have your autograph and maybe a picture?" Me and Colby looked over to a girl who was about a year or two younger. Colby looked over to me as if asking if it was okay. I smiled and nodded and he gave his attention back to the girl. "Yeah sure." He said signing the picture of him she had and he stood up and the girl hugged him and her mother took the picture. She thanked him and left. He had the biggest smile, I'm pretty sure that has never happened before. "Look babe you have fans. Congrats." His smile grew even bigger. I knew he wanted to tell Sam really bad. I smiled and nodded and he pulled out his phone and called Sam. I could hear the excitement in his voice, the phone call was short and he put his phone back in his pocket. "Alright are you ready for the next plan for today?" Colby asked getting his wallet out and grabbing the bill to pay as we walk out. Colby opened the car door for me and I got in. I checked my phone and I had texts from the group message.
