Miss You

Imagine being broken up with Keith. You two had been together for so long that even the first day without him felt like hell. Now it had been two weeks without him and here you were, lying in bed yet again, listening to sad songs and not even making an attempt to function without him. Meanwhile, Keith was at rehearsal with the band, but it wasn't going so well.

"Keith, why don't you just talk to her?" Pete said, giving up trying to rehearse since their drummer wasn't exactly participating.

"She won't see me, I'm sure of it."

"No, you're not. You can't be. She's probably doing the same bloody thing you are!" Pete said, flailing his arms about in frustration.

"Pete's right, Keith. You need to see her, you're clearly not going to be able to get over this," Roger said, patting Keith on the shoulder.

He let out a sigh.

"I suppose I've got nothing to lose now, yeah?" He said with a slight but sad smile.

He got up and walked out the door to make his way to your house, which was only a few blocks down. You were still laying in bed when you heard the knock on your door. You almost decided against answering the door, but somehow you found motivation to get up. You opened the door to see Keith. You felt somewhat embarrassed seeing as you looked like you hadn't slept for weeks, which was for the most part true. In his eyes he seemed nervous as he waited for you to break the silence.

"Keith," you said quietly, giving him a small smile.

He looked so sad and you felt your heart melting at the sight of him.

"(Y/n), I can't do this."

"Do what? Didn't we have this conversation already?" You said, feeling your heart sink at the memory of the huge fight between the two of you not too long ago.

"No, I mean this, being away from you. I can't do it, it's not right," he said quickly.

Your eyes met his and you felt like you were being pulled towards him. He was right, it wasn't right being away from each other. You realized you'd been silently staring at him for quite some time now, but you couldn't pull yourself away.

"I understand that you probably don't want me here, and you're probably better off without me but I just had to-"

You couldn't stand seeing him sad any longer and you couldn't stand being apart from him. You grabbed him by his shirt and pulled him into your house, pushed him against the wall and slammed your lips into his. He seemed a little shocked at first, but he slowly fell into sync with you, his lips fitting perfectly with yours. His arms snaked around you, pressing your body close to his like you'd been needing for too long. Your heart raced in your chest like it was the first kiss all over again, but better. You felt his tongue begging for entrance and you couldn't help but grant it. You had completely lost track of time at this point, but you felt like you could do this forever. You'd completely forgotten about the fight, about him leaving, about everything. It was just this.

He broke away to attempt to catch his breath. He rested his head on your should, his hands gently placed on your waist to hold on to you. You ran your fingers through his hair, smiling to yourself as you noticed how soft it was. He lifted his head up and gave you a smile as he lifted his hand to stroke your cheek.

"I absolutely adore you." He said bluntly.

You blushed and that was all the assurance he needed. Keith gave you the happiest smile you'd ever seen.
