Imagine laying on the beach tanning. You and Keith had been there for a good majority of the day and it was absolutely perfect. You closed your eyes to ponder the way the sun felt and the way it touched your skin when you realized it was quiet. Now, when you're anywhere with Keith it's a well know fact that it is always anything but quiet. You sat up, looking out into the water to make sure he was still splashing about, but you couldn't see him.

"Keith?" You called out.

You heard a bit of a giggle behind you before you felt yourself being drenched in water. Your jaw dropped as your hair when flat with the water and covered your eyes. You heard the sounds of loud laughter behind you as you stood up to shake your hair out. Sure enough, when you turned around, Keith was there rolling in the sand laughing like mad next to the bucket he had used to carry the water. You put your hands on your hips and shook your head, attempting not laugh. He looked up at you, still laughing at your tongue-in-cheek expression as he lifted himself off the ground, brushing some of the sand off of him as he did so.

"I'm sorry, love," he said through his giggles.

"Mmhm," you murmured as you say back down on your towel.

You felt him sit behind you and then you felt his hands on your shoulders, gently lowering you so you could lay your head in his lap. He looked down and gave you a small smile.

"I haven't gone and upset you now have I?" He asked as he ran his fingers through your hair and gently traced your lips, nose and your face in general.

You felt relaxed by his touch and began to forget you were still soaking in salt water as he pet you.

"I'll get over it," you said with a sigh, "don't think that means you can do it again though, you nut."

He leaned down just above your ear, "No promises," he whispered before planting a kiss on your forehead.

Thankfully, he didn't do it again. You spent the rest of the day napping and playing on the beach with him, and it was wonderful.
