Imagine trying to get a cab while you were in New York, and you know how that goes. It seemed like you were never going to get one as they all kept flying past you. You were just about to give up when one finally stopped.
"It's about time," you mumbled to yourself as you marched towards the cab door, but before you could grab the handle another hand reached out and held it open for you.
You looked up to see none other than Keith Moon, a man you'd once been in love with, holding it open with a smile.
"Mind if I catch a ride with you?"
You narrowed your eyes at him, he knew how you felt towards him now, but you weren't about to be rude.
You nodded as you slipped into the cab and scooted to the other side of the car. He climbed in and sat next to you, watching your face, hoping you'd look up at him, but you refused. You quickly told the cabbie your address and proceeded to keep quiet.
"(Y/n)," he whispered, "I know you're mad at me."
You turned at rolled your eyes at him. The two of you had been so happy at one point but after The Who got big, you never saw him again. Until now.
He took your hand in his and stopped you when you tried to pull away."Please listen to me, okay? Just this once."
You met his eyes and knew you'd made a mistake the moment you did. His eyes always made you melt, they were so deep brown, it killed you. He knew he'd got you now and you couldn't help but listen.
"I'm sorry," he simply said, "and I'm still so in love with you, you have no idea."
You felt tears brimming in your eyes but you did your best to hold them back.
"So, that's all I wanted to say, I suppose. You probably don't want to hear that but-"
You grabbed him by his tie and pressed your lips firmly to his. He responded immediately, cupping your face gently in his hands. His lips felt warm and familiar against yours, making all the love you held for him rush back to you. Your hands wandered to his hair, running your fingers through it and gently tugging. He let out a moan as you slipped your tongue into his mouth.
"Hey!" The cabbie yelled. You pulled away from Keith and let out a laugh when you saw his face was just as flushed as yours and he was equally out of breath.
"Uhm," he said, through bated breath, "i think one stop is fine."
"Yeah, no kidding," the cabbie mumbled.
He took your hand in his and winked at you.
You couldn't wait to get to his house.
