Imagine being at a carnival on a first date with Keith. You and he had been friends for quite sometime, but he'd finally gotten up the courage to ask you on an official date. He picked you up that evening with a beyond excited smile and took you to the cutest little carnival with a gorgeous view of the beach beside it. It was a cool evening and you had just had the best time on the bumper karts with him, laughing like crazy and hoping those moments would last forever. Now you sat on a bench watching the waves hit the sand over and over again. Keith walked over and sat next to you, handing you a cone of pink cotton candy.

"Why thank you," you said, blushing as he gave you that cute little smile of his.

The two of you sat and listened to the waves together. A cool breeze came through and you shivered a little bit.

Keith scooted closer to you, "Here," he said as he wrapped his jacket around your shoulders and then placed his arm around you, pulling you closer to him.

"Better?" He asked.

"Much better," you sighed as you rested  your head on him and closed your eyes.

He looked down at you and smiled as he watched you. He placed a kiss atop your head, which caused butterflies to take flight in your stomach. You lifted your head back up and met his brown eyes. He looked so innocently beautiful as he watched you in admiration. You felt that familiar nervous excitement in the pit of your stomach as you took the plunge and leaned in. His eyes flickered down to your lips as he too leaned closer, a smile gracing his lips before they met yours. Fireworks set off almost immediately as his lips moved in sync against yours. You blushed as his hands moved to cup your face, holding you in place as he kissed you softly. He smiled and broke away, leaning his forehead on yours as he let out a quiet laugh.

"What's so funny?" You asked.

"Oh, nothing," he said with a smile, "I've just wanted to do that for so long, I'm happy."

"I'm happy too, Keith," you whispered in a joy filled voice.

"Thank God," he breathed before he pressed his lips to yours again.

You spent the rest of your time with him watching the sunset happily in his arms.
