Imagine being at a club watching a band play. They were quite good and everyone seemed to agree they'd be big someday. You smiled as you nodded along to the beat, agreeing silently that they would be. When you turned your head back to the stage, you caught the eye of the drummer. You blushed as he threw you a quick smile and kept drumming along with the song. You smiled as you felt butterflies flutter up in your stomach as you watched him. He had an almost innocent looking face with a pair of brown eyes, tousled brown hair and a sweet smile. You almost couldn't believe he'd looked at you so you brushed it off. Later, you sat at your table by yourself, finishing what was left of your drink. You felt a tap on your shoulder and turned around to meet those same brown eyes.

"Sorry to bother you, but I saw you in the audience," he said, blushing a bit as he spoke to you, "how'd you like the show?"

A smile pulled at the corners of your lips as you watched him lean on the table and smile nervously at you, "You guys are an amazing band, I loved the show."

He lit up and stood a little taller when you spoke.

"You think so?"

You nodded your head, "Yeah, I mean it, you guys are going somewhere."

He beamed at you now with admiration, "What's your name?"

"(Y/n)," you said with an almost distracted smile as you felt yourself getting lost in his eyes, "what's yours?"

"Keith," he said with a smirk, "can I buy you a drink?"

"You sure can," you said before you could stop yourself, the words just spilled out, but you were glad they did.

You spent the next few hours talking and laughing and getting to know this man with the pretty eyes and the sweet smile, and you wouldn't rather have done anything else. There was a pause and you both looked at each other contentedly.

"I'd really like to see you again, (y/n)," he said, refusing to take his eyes away from yours as he spoke.

You nodded, "Then see me again," you said with a smirk.

He stood, grabbed a pen and took your hand to scribble his number down onto it. When he finished writing he lifted your hand to his lips and pressed a kiss to it.

"I think I will," he said with a gleam in his eyes, "until then, (y/n)."

You watched him walk away, anticipating, with butterflies in your stomach, when you'd see him again.
