Full of Surprises

Imagine waking up to Keith wrapping his arms around you and placing kisses all over you. You slowly flickered your eyes open and squinted in the morning light. You smiled as you turned your head to see your cute brunette boyfriend cuddled up next to you giving you that smile of his.

"What's all this about?" You said through giggles as he began to kiss your face again.

"I have a surprise for you," he said with a cheeky grin.

"You're always surprising me, you know that?"

He smiled proudly, "Admit it, you love it."

You rolled your eyes but couldn't help agreeing with him.

"Alright so what's this surprise of yours?"

He threw the blankets off of himself and hopped out of bed, "Wait here," he called behind him as he ran out of the room, "oh, and close your eyes!"

You let out a laugh as you sat up and placed your hands over your eyes, playing along with Keith's game. You waited patiently as you heard him shuffling about in the next room.

"Alright," you heard him say as he made his way back into bed next to you, "here you go."

You felt him place something warm and soft in your lap. It began to lick your hands and you immediately removed them from your eyes to see an adorable black and white puppy squirming about happily in your lap. You let out a little gasp of excitement as it jumped into your outstretched arms and let you hug him.

"Oh Keith, you didn't," you said as you snuggled the little pup closer to you.

"Are you saying we can't keep him?" He asked, giving you puppy eyes of his own.

"Well, of course we're keeping him, I'm already attached," you said with a giggle as the puppy licked your face.

"Seems he already loves you too, but then again, who wouldn't?" Keith said with a wink.

You rolled your eyes, but gave him a flattered smile, "Cheesy."

"You love that too, along with all my surprises," he said as he placed his hand under your chin and turned your face towards him for a kiss.

You spent the rest of the morning snuggled up in bed with Keith and your little surprise.
