Something was seriously wrong with him.

I stood in the middle of the bowling alley more than embarrassed. Everyone was staring now. Louis & Eleanor looked uncomfortable. Harry was a mix of all emotions. Angry...sympathetic...confused...

"Grace!" Harry called, but he was too late. I was already halfway through the door.

I wanted to find Niall. Find him so I could slap him and yell and cry. I wasn't even sure why I felt the way I felt. Maybe it was the build up of everything along with my own, twisted emotional state. What did I feel?

I was immediately drenched the second I stepped outside. Stupid rain. Just wonderful.

The way the cold water beat down on me effected my emotions. It made me feel even more overwhelmed. Was that what I was feeling? Overwhelmed? My tears began to mix with the raindrops running down my cheeks.

I searched the lot for him. I knew I looked crazy as hell standing alone in the middle of a parking lot in the rain with no umbrella. He was gone. How'd he leave that quick?

"Grace!" My head turned towards the entrance of the bowling alley. Harry stood there being kept dry by the big billboard. The rain got harder.

"Come back inside. If you want to go home I'll drive you. You shouldn't be driving in weather like this." For a moment I just stood staring at him as he waited looking back at me. He was literally an angel.

I ran to my car as fast as I could. It was a dumb move. I knew Harry was right, I shouldn't have been driving especially with the way I was feeling. The pounding rain made it hard to see, but I didn't care. I knew Id be ok.

I started up the car immediately, my clothes and hair soaking the seat. The rain was still just as loud with the protection of my car. As I drove out of the lot I stopped to look at Harry. He was still standing in the doorway looking at me hopefully, like he was praying that Id jump out the car and stay or let him drive me home....

But instead I mouthed the word "sorry" before stomping on the gas pedal.

I wondered where Niall had disappeared to so quick. Probably home. I felt like driving there just to see him and curse him out, but I needed time first.

Haley. I wanted to see her. I needed to see her. She had always been extremely talkative, loud, nosy and a bit of a gossip, but her heart was always in the right place, and she was always there when I needed her. Always.

With the crazy traffic I had to sit in, it took me over an hour to get to her house. I didn't even think to call her first as I pulled up to her driveway. The rain was only harder, and the thunder made me jump. My converse sloshed in puddles as I approached the door.

I hoped Devin didn't answer the door. I really didn't need his commentary on my distraught state. I might've just lost it.

Luckily Haley answered. She took in my appearance and her smile quickly faded. She was too shocked too speak, and I couldn't figure out why.The door was only open enough for her small figure to show.

"Can we talk?" She looked back as if there were something secretive inside. "Is Ben here?" I asked.

"Whats wrong?" She ignored my question.

"I just...can we talk?" And when I say talk I don't mean standing at your door talk." I tried to smile but I couldn't.

"Oh." She had never been so guarded before. Usually she was dragging me through the door. She glanced back again.

"Don't freak out, alright?"

I squinted in confusion as her big blue eyes filled with....fear?

"I'll try not to," I compromised nervously. She nodded before fully opening the door. She looked away as I stepped inside.
