"Whats with the face?"

After my morning with Harry I went home to see my mother in the living room. She looked as if she'd been waiting on me. An extremely wide smile was stretched across her face, and her eyes lit up in excitement...it was kinda creepy.

"You're coming wedding dress shopping with me!" She announced with glee.

"Right now?" She nodded, smile never fading. My thoughts immediately went to Niall and my undeniable feelings for him, and then our fight. A sharp pang of hurt coursed through me but I quickly recovered & tried to match her happiness....it was impossible.

"I was waiting for you to come back. You're already dressed so we can leave right now!" I tried thinking of some lame excuse as to why I couldn't go, but I knew Id have to go sooner or later & putting it off wouldn't help. This wedding was going to happen whether I wanted it to or not.

Before I could blink she was already out the door and motioning for me to hurry up

"Aunt Alice is meeting us there," she informed me on the way to the car. "Your opinion on the dress means a lot to me you know? When we get there you have to be honest with me." I quietly nodded, trying to think positive.

"Will Mr.Horan be there?" I wondered aloud when we were both in the car.

"No. He offered to come but I don't want him seeing the dress until the wedding," she told me driving away from the house.

"Do you know what kind of dress you want?"

"Not really. Im just excited to try on a bunch of different ones." I faked a smile before leaning back against my seat.

My thoughts drifted to my time with Harry not that long ago. Telling him the truth felt great. In no time he already felt like my best friend. Maybe I trusted people too easily, but I had told him everything about the one thing I never thought Id tell anyone. I remembered telling Haley. She hadn't really taken me seriously.

Harry was a great listener, but was also great to talk to. He paid attention to everything I said and didn't try to give me advice on what I should do, but rather asked what I thought. Of course, all I could say was "I don't know," but I still liked that he asked. And he wasn't nosy either, just the right amount of curious.

My only problem now was Niall. Really, it shouldn't have even been a problem. I knew where our twisted relationship was headed. But there was still that part of me that wasn't ready to let go of him yet. Whenever I thought about "us" ending I remembered our first date that I didn't even realize was a date at first. And I thought about all the different times & ways he made me feel beautiful. I remembered the little things I learned about him everyday. And overall, the way I was naturally happy around him. A feeling that not too long ago felt foreign to me.

Niall Horan would always have a place in my heart.

"Im about to come out!" my mom exclaimed from behind the black curtains.

"We're ready!" Both my aunt and I responded. My mother pushed the curtains back and walked down the little walk way the bridal shop provided.

The dress had a pretty design but was definitely too tight. It made her boobs look really pushed up & her stomach caved in.

"What do you think?" She asked partially spinning.

"It looks tight," my aunt pointed out before I could.

My mom stood examining herself in the gigantic mirror at all angles.

"I think so too," she sighed. She looked to me for advice but I just shrugged.

"Im gonna try another." She rushed back to the curtains before snapping them shut.

"Are you excited about the wedding," my aunt asked me.

"Yep." She eyed me suspiciously.

"Really? Because your eyes are screaming no." I smiled at that.

"Its just that Im still taking it all in. Even now it feels so new."

She nodded. "I know the feeling. I've been wondering how you were dealing with everything but you seem calm. Im glad that you're allowing this to happen for your mom, especially after-"

"Get ready!" my mom shouted. She must've been listening. I squirmed in my seat focused & waiting for the curtains to open.

I liked this dress. It was cream colored and very long. The straps were tiny and she look great in it.

"It looks amazing, mom." I blurted without thinking. She smiled at my compliment.

"Thanks. I like it too. What do you think Alice?"

"Its lovely..but I think you can find better." My mom frowned at the comment but nodded.

"I'll keep looking." She disappeared once again. I got nervous praying that aunt Alice wouldn't try talking to me again. She didn't, probably because mom had given her the death glare.

Mom tried on six more dresses before she stepped out in my favorite one. It was pure white and fitted perfectly. Very long and elegant looking with a transparent cloth going down her back. It was beautiful.

"Mom you look gorgeous!"

She smiled brightly into the mirror admiringly.

"I think I found the dress."
